Candela's is a great time. The atmosphere is chill and they have a playlist that makes you want to get up and dance. The food and drinks are made to perfection. The service from everyone I encountered was amazing. Most importantly: its very covid friendly! I've already been twice and I will certainly be back. 10/10!

Candela La Brea was the perfect venue for a recent holiday company party. Omar made the organizing process a total breeze from the moment we connected. The pricing was fair, the venue was clean and well-maintained, the food was excellent and safely prepared, the drinks were perfect (my colleagues loved them!) and overall it was a wonderful experience. I am very grateful for how easy it was to work with this venue and can't wait to return in a bigger way. Thank you, Omar, for everything!

I'm obsessed with this place!
I recently hosted my boyfriends 30th party at their top lounge and it was absolutely amazing.
It was so easy working with upper management and getting the reservation.
It was spacious and the sound system- WOW!
I look forward to hosting another event!

Just today at this this location for an event brunch2bomb. Nice venue in all. They valeted my car and when I received it back money was missing from armrest and that's not cool. Just a suggestion do not valet your car here. Park your own car or Uber to this location because they are thieves. I don't care how much money it was they went through my personal stuff... I'm very concerned because who knows what else they took. You can't trust anyone. NEVER AGAIN...

When we seen pics on website we were like, this looks really nice.
Not paying attention and seeing that this was the rooms the rent for events and not for sit down dinner.
The bar seating was small and there aren't many tables outside on the sidewalk either.
The food I must say was delicious and our waiter was awesome!!

I can rave about this place and the Candela team all day. Over last weekend (8/28/21), I rented the loft event space for my wedding. Not only did Omar and his team answer every question I had, he made sure every single detail was taken care of. Planning a wedding is one of the hardest things I've done but Omar made it so much easier. There was plenty of open communication and lots of checking in.

Amazing!! The staff great cannot complain at all. We came here on a Saturday night four of us, we were sat quickly outside. Our server was amazing. We ordered taco platter, appetizer and drinks! All the drinks were amazing. The food was great as well. We ended up going inside to sit and drink more. All our drinks were delicious. Thank you.. Sergio and Johnny!! We will return

This has to be one of the best wine bars I've been to in a long time. The wine list was extensive and the knowledge of the server was on point. We shared 2 tasting flights; USA vs Spain 1&2, and I have to say the Spanish wines won hands down. We ordered a charcuterie plate which had several delicious meats and was much larger than expected. Our server also made great recommendations for 2 cheeses to compliment the wines. Great ambiance! There was so much seating available with very comfortable and private options. I will definitely come back next time I'm in LA

I got no complaints, food was so delicious. A friend of mine recommended this place so I tried their Taco Tour with a side of Mexican rice and to drink, a Paloma. They have outdoor dining and inside there are high tables and some lounge seating with lower tables, chairs and booth. A neon side on one wall and a couple tvs by the bar. The bar is small for the way this place gets crowded. Not only are they serving drinks to customers at the bar but they are using half of the bar for waiters and table drink orders. So really you only have a corner of a bar to order your drink and wait. One bartender

Candela has always treated me so well. I've had the honor of meeting the Lopez family plus most of the staff and feel like a part of the extended family after 3 years of visiting the restaurant. I'm excited to see their growth in 2021 and beyond. Their family, their brand, the culture/vibe/aesthetic they have cultivated is incredible. Unmatched.
