Houston Veterinary Hospital is located on the corner of Parker and Airline in North Houston. We have been serving Houston pets since 1980. Having over 35 years of experience, we have advanced our surgical care specifically in orthopedics and soft tissue. We are defined by our success in complex cases and steering cases head on!

We stand by our original creed of honoring each patient as if they were our own and take this role in your pets' life very seriously. We want you and your pet companion to feel welcome and offer a calm and supportive environment. Our doctors are well-informed and advanced in their knowledge of ever-changing and evolving veterinary practices.

When you arrive you will be greeted by a team of friendly, knowledgeable, and caring individuals. Our front receptionists will help you get checked in. Once checked in, one of our team members will see you into the exam room and weigh your pet. In most cases, one of our veterinary technicians will start by asking about your pet's medical history, current condition and the reason for your visit, gathering data for the doctor.

We are happy to book an appointment for you. This is not an automatic process. Once we receive your request, we will contact you to confirm a date and time that is as close to your request as possible. If your appointment has not been confirmed within 24 hours, please feel free to contact the practice by phone to confirm.

We are located on the corner of Parker Road and Airline Drive in a brown building. We are next door to Walgreens and the Pain & Recovery clinic and across the street from Kroger. You can find driving directions on our location page. We are open most days until 6pm and on Saturdays.

The Hospital opens at 7:30AM Monday thru Saturday with Doctor appointments are available: Monday 9am - 6pm Tuesday 9am - 5pm Wednesday 9am - 4pm Thursday 9am - 5pm Friday 9am - 5pm Saturday 9am - 3pm.We see cats, dogs, rabbits, snakes, most small reptiles, frogs, hamsters, ferrets, hedgehogs, hampsters, guinnea pigs and many other small animals.
