Located in the heart of Atlanta, we are a full upscale salon with an outstanding industry reputation. We are currently seeking talented, licensed, motivated, mature individuals for our midtown salon & beauty bar.
R+Co is the brainchild of some of the most forward thinking, rule-bending stylists in the industry. All of the products are formulated without paragons, sulfates, mineral oil or petroleum. They are all vegetarian, cruelty-free, gluten-free and color-safe. The packaging and fragrances were designed to enhance the styling experience for both women and men.
Oliver has worked with some of the most recognized names in the industry including Vidal Sassoon and Toni and Guy in London, Jacque Dessange in Paris, AVEDA, and Bumble & Bumble in New York. Since 1997, Studio Oliver owner and namesake Oliver Bacchus has been ranked "Best of the Best" in America. I waited 3 weeks after my haircut to write a review. Oliver did a great job with my haircut and balayage color. I have very dark, wavy hair, and am always nervous when going to a new colorist. He blended the colors very well, and the haircut is suited to my curls perfectly. I recommend this studio highly! As a side note- they wore masks the whole time and the salon took very good covid precautions. I felt very safe!

Just wow! This place is incredible. Patrice was so nice, welcoming me and doing a great hair wash. Oliver is incredible. I knew how I wanted my hair cut and he did exactly what I asked. I've lived in Atlanta for many years and can't believe I just found such a nice hair salon. Oliver and Patrice are the best.

Nick. Nick. Nick. I've been coming to Studio Oliver to come see him since before 2011 (over 6 years!) He really knows how to cut thick, coarse Asian hair and always gives his clients the royal treatment!
I live in SF now and still come back every year just to get my haircut with Nick - I just can't get the same results elsewhere! Highly highly recommend!
Lola (the sweetest and most well-behaved dog) and generous pourings of wine are also perks

I had to have my daughter's hair cut DESPERATELY and we were visiting ATL. I found this place because of awesome Yelp reviews.
The the super cool rainbow hair guy offered us a couple options but the only one that worked was seeing Oliver which he was worried about because it was spendy (and my daughter is not someone you would necessarily want to spend $85 on a hair cut for).
Totally worth it. My daughter has a tangle of loose curls and it's literally the first cut she ever had that doesn't look like it barely made a dent

Looking for the right hair person is like looking for true love. We've all had traumatizing experiences. For example, my worst haircut was in Shanghai when the bald stylist (should have been a red flag) gave me a Chinese mullet crossed with an American rat tail. I was single for a while after that. Jaded. I had only been in one long term stylist relationship, which lasted almost 11 years. Things were good, but I feel like we plateaud. Then I found out my best friend (see Jessica J's review) and fiancé both went to the same hairdresser at Studio Oliver. Complete coincidence. So, obviously

I loved my experience at Studio Oliver today! I was in Atlanta for a video shoot (I don't live here) and picked Studio Oliver because it was well-priced and looked like a lovely spot. I lucked out!
Katie gave me a luxurious wash/conditioning treatment, trimmed up my long layers without sacrificing the length (just as I asked her to), I got to enjoy a fresh cup of french press coffee (I'm such a coffee snob, so this was really great) and she styled my hair beautifully for the shoot.

Heidi is amazing! She fixed my botched ombré from another salon and it looks so good. Just what I wanted. She actually took time to talk to me and listen to me before she started. She was very clear about what she was going to do and made 100% I understood and it's what I wanted. I was her only client while I was there which had not been the case at other salons. They also have super comfortable sinks and for once my neck didn't hurt after I had my hair washed at a salon.

I found this little neighborhood gem while doing laundry next door a few years ago. I see Jason and he does an auhmazing job on my natural hair. He does an awesome shampoo and scalp massage. In addition, he is great with a pair of scissors. The prices are about normal for a boutique salon in midtown Atlanta. I would highly recommend him for women with natural hair.

I was recommended Studio Oliver by a friend of mine who always has amazing hair, so when I saw a scout mob deal for 50% off I had to give it a try. As someone who has tried out a lot of salons in Atlanta, I would definitely recommend Studio Oliver to based on the quality of service and price.

So before I get into why this salon gets a 5, I'll tell you why it almost got a 2!! Yep, that's a huge jump!

This place is awesome. I love the vibe, the people (both stylists and customers) are great, and I love the haircut Felicia gave me! I live in the neighborhood and I like hanging out at this place so much I'll visit friends while they're getting a cut! On top of that they've always had a couple beers for me while getting the cut. Stayed at the Loews Atlanta and the concierge recommended Studio Oliver - a $7 cab ride and Uber on the way back.
Bonus again: offering of wine. Thank you!

Felicia did my hair and she is an angel - superbly blew out my hair which is naturally wavy and of course...i wanted it stick straight & flat Iron finish.
Highly recommend Studio Oliver.

Fantastic. I have been here 3 times since I have been in Atlanta for work over the past couple years. I saw Nick all three times. Such a friendly guy who cuts amazing hair! I love the atmosphere, the drinks you get with a haircut, and the affordable studio haircuts. I highly recommend this place and Nick as a hair stylist.

One of the biggest challenges of moving is having to find a new stylist. Are you going to find one that you like? Are you going to find one that can work with you to get the cut right? Is a decent visit going to cost you more than your first month's rent?
