Our prime location is in the Midtown Promenade, adjacent to Piedmont Park with direct access to the beltline. We are located in the courtyard, above Midtown Art Cinema. The Asian guy did my hair cut. I got 2 abrupt layers, one shorter at my chin and one longer at shoulder. There are some shorter layers in the back. The weight of hair was not distributed well and the ends fly up or curl up all the time. The left and right hand side are not even. I had to go to a different salon to fix it.
update Dec 2021: Changed it to 2 stars. I got in touch with the owner and she refunded me the cost of the haircut.

I’ve been using Axiom Hair Cutlers every month for nearly 7 years. It felt like home from the first time I gave them a try. The location is in the heart of Midtown in the plaza behind the Trader Joe’s with plenty of convenient parking. Ayeshah, the owner and master stylist, is my usual go-to and she is great - everything from a simple cut to something a little “edgy”, she can do it. Specializing in men’s hair, the whole team is very experienced and professional. And they respect my time - I don’t think I’ve ever had to wait

Ayeshah cut my hair about 10 months ago, and I loved it. She was very professional, friendly and did a great job interpreting the photos I showed her. I had long hair at time and was looking to go to a short style that would look cute curly or straight. Ayeshah made sure she understood the length I wanted and didn't cut more than I asked. I am getting ready to make another appointment.

I just got the worst hair cut ever at Axiom. The guy used shears only on my head and took off four inches of curls. I said trim it up and take off one inch. Hey. Don't believe me? Check the video camera for my before and after. It was Thursday morning 7/29/21 @ 10:30.
The cut took 10 minutes. I had to ask to get my wolfgang brows trimmed and asked for a trash can to shake the hair in my lap into. NO he did not blow off the hair...

I read online this is the best of ATL haircut salon, so I got a haircut here before my trip out of town.
It turned out just okay. I specifically said I would like my hair layered all over, take at least couple inches off and keep long bangs.
My hair is still longer than I wanted it to be, the bangs are so short, I have to use couple clips to twist and roll to the top of my head.
On top of it... this salon DOES NOT take credit cards. So if u did not bring cash, u have to figure it out.

Khalif was super nice and did an awesome job! I had buzzed my hair a year ago and it needed some help because it was definitely at the awkward part of the re-growth stage. He straightened it up and gave it some really nice layers without taking too much off. Will definitely be returning!

Been a customer for 7 years now, and I can't imagine going anywhere else. Staff are all friendly, helpful, professional, and good at their jobs. I've had David as my stylist for years, but I can honestly recommend any one there. Coming here feels like an escape from craziness of life - I can relax for 30 minutes and come out a better (looking) man.
Ayeshah and her team have also taken considerable precautions during the 2020 times of social distancing. It is clear they care about their customers and are willing to work extra hard to keep them safe.

There are no shortage of places to get your haircut in and around Midtown, but few places strike the balance among quality cuts, solid pricing, and easy accessibility like Axiom does. In this neighborhood, $24 for a men's cut (which includes a shampoo) is very reasonable. I have gotten cuts from multiple stylists here including Ayeshah (the owner, I believe) and Neka, and they all do a great job. This place's location in the Midtown Promenade shopping center makes parking a cinch. Finally, I rarely have issues getting an appointment when I need one even when booking last minute.

Recently moved to the area, so I had to change barbers. I went in for a first time haircut and couldn’t have had a better experience! Aeyesha gave a fantastic haircut for a fair price, and couldn’t have been more hospitable or friendly. Will be recommending to friends, and certainly found my new haircut spot!

Always enjoy my experience here. Neka has been cutting my hair for a while. She's great with clippers and scissors. What sets Neka apart is her detail. I have three crowns and my hair pattern is different in the back. Often it will get cut too short or not short enough in places and the result is spiky strands. Neka gets it right every time.

Kely, the stylist, did a good job with the haircut. Overall I am happy with how my hair looks after the hair cut.
However she is fairly aggressive when she cuts your hair. She presses down hard with the trimmers, so hard that my neck has a peeling/burning sensation. To position your head, she also grabs and holds your head really hard. Finally, her shampooing of our scalp is also rough. Overall the haircut looked great, but the process to get one was to aggressive.

Love Axiom Cutler Salon! The best barbershop in Atlanta bar-none and even better, they charge only $20 for a haircut and shampoo/head massage. The staff here are all amazing and are experts at what they do. My schedule is pretty hectic so most of the time I walk in but they are very accommodating and work me in very quickly.

Axiom has been a monthly ritual for me for over a year now. It took me some time to find a place in Atlanta that I felt excited to go to every month to cut my lion's mane worth of hair. Thankfully, Kely and the Axiom team have filled that bill! I never have an issue getting an appointment and they're always prompt and respectful of my time. Speaking of Kely, she's one of the best hair stylists I've ever had in my life. She knows my life and I know her's. A true friend!

Loved my experience at Axiom, and so sad I'm moving out of Atlanta before I'll get to go back!
Neeka was awesome- not only did she do an awesome job (and I have hair that's a bit hard to cut) she worked quickly and efficiently and was really fun to talk to!
Especially for the low price and convenient location, I couldn't recommend Axiom enough. Easy 5 stars!

I've been getting my hair cut at Axiom for years and can say it's the best place to get a haircut in Atlanta. Ayeshah works miracles. She's a master at her craft and helps you look your best.
There's a positive energy in the shop and I always leave smiling. They're friendly and accommodating - even walk-ins...not sure what that other reviewer is talking about as I've never seen them offer anything but great customer service. The online scheduling is so convenient and the experience will keep you coming back. You can't beat the price for the value you get.
