One word. Mice. Our cat has caught 3 just this week. We moved in 2 months ago. If you have not seen mice it is because you don't have a cat that can catch them at night when they come out. You can hear them in the walls and it drives our cat insane.
We only signed a short lease because we needed to move but did not have time to close on a house.

Terrible management, terrible maintenance, terrible organization.. first day we moved in we ran the dishwasher to find out it leaked water all over our kitchen floor. Maintenance came said we needed a new dishwasher. Took 3 months for it to be installed. About a year in I get a call from my wife while at work saying water was leaking from all over the ceilings. Ended up being 2 maintenance guys didn't communicate an left a pipe wide open. Pay up the but for having a dog.. new owners came in and raised our rent without saying a word to anyone. Installed security system to all building entrances

Update: I didn’t think this place could get worse, but I was wrong. We have been here since August and we finally got a key fob to get to the gym and mailroom after hours. I had to consistently bother the office for them. The mailroom is a nightmare. Anyone can walk in the mail and have access to all the packages. Every package I’ve had sent there has been tampered with. My boyfriend has had TWO packages stolen and the staff didn’t care at all. We have to send packages to our parents house which live over and hour away which is extremely inconvenient. It’s unfortunate that we pay rent here

This complex deserves a ZERO star rating! They do not care, the club house is a disaster especially the mail room. You can’t even use the fitness center after they close the office even though you paid for a key fob! They never answer the phone no matter how many times you call. Not to mention they are beyond rude when you talk to them on the phone or In person. Maintenance never comes when they say they will and then things never get fixed. Absolutely worst apartment complex I have ever lived in.

Could be better. They have new management and you can tell that they changed and everything has gone down hill. Raised rent this year for no reason no updates nothing. You are lucky to find a parking spot outside and for sometime you couldn't even park outside because of "work" they were doing outside. Carpet inside the hallways are over 5 years old and musty. Not even updated appliances for what you pay just pass they are slumloards. Old management was decently better.

West Grove is a great place to live. They have lots of amenities available and the staff is friendly. Very organized and diligent about making repairs to maintain their facilities. My neighbors are courteous and pleasant to talk to which gives off a great sense of community. I would highly recommend West Grove apartments!

My name is christopher bowers. I have been here for a year and have had to deal with roaches and a number of nice and numerous things falling apart. The biggest thing though has to be the tow company that the apartment complex has contracted with. I have had the correct credentials on my vehicles and have had a extremely bad altercation with J&J… towing. They towed my vehicle speeding through waukesha and owner tried running me off the road. Second incident happened friday my car got towed because of a flat tire. But seeing how my put new tires on my car last week that seemed far fetched

Everything about this place is perfect the pool the club house the staff the neighborhood neighbors everything is great the only issue I have is about 5 months ago they came in and cut the corner of my patio and dug a hole for a cement pad to replace a post to the balcony above my apartment left 2 piles of dirt and I have from almost day one ask to have grass seed planted ( which has never been done) so I may have grass to enjoy when I want to enjoy my patio but besides that it’s a great place to live

$925 a month - dishwasher took 4 years to replace and leaked profusely until then.
New owners took out the only decent thing about the place, an indoor pool, which was one of the reasons we moved there.
You gotta walk almost a quarter of a mile to take out your trash.
"We don't care and it shows" should be their motto.
On the bright side, it's fun to read the police blotter to see what's going on around here!

Absolutely terrible place to live. The only plus is the fact that I have a washer/dryer in my unit, but that doesn’t make up for mice in my bedroom with management refusing to do anything about it, no parking near my apartment, constant sewage smell in the bathroom, disgusting neighbors leaving garbage in the hallway, and young kids running around… unattended like wild animals trying to get into my apartment. I pay $900 for a tiny apartment with no storage because I was shown a different one when I signed my lease. Please save yourself the trouble that I’ve dealt with and don
