I really wanted to like this place. But after I sent my wine glass back to be cleaned of the hard water stains. The stem and base came back to me still dirty. If your going clean it wouldn’t you want to clean the whole thing. Where is the attention to detail? This simple exercise may suggest other problems with the whole restaurant. If I’m ordering wine do I deserve to drink from a clean vessel. I think so. When I have company I clean their glasses so they may experience the contents as pure and wonderful as possible. I am a picky person but that’s why I don’t hang out at the leprechaun

Has anyone tried Stella Grill in South salt lake?
Charming Cafe restored in an Old Firehouse. Delicious menu in every way. Sandwiches salads. Much of it homemade, salmon grilled to perfection. Good variety. Staff was super friendly. And everyone helped everyone serve the tables. Great atmosphere. Definitely going back.

We had a lovely visit at Stella today! We got there right when they opened on a weekday, so we had no trouble being seated and getting our food.
My husband loved his veggie black bean burger. The pasta salad was delicious and had freshly made noodles!
I had the salmon salad and it was excellent with such unique flavor combinations. Feta! Capers! Good beets! Pepitas! Potatoes!

Absolutely love this restaurant & made it a point to visit when I was in town for my birthday trip. Would've given 5 stars, but the waitress wasn't very friendly & didn't seem excited to be there at all. When it was time to order food she said " what do you want" which came off as very annoyed & rude to me. I ordered the steak salad & gluten free chocolate torte & it was delicious. Hopefully next time I'm in town the waitress will be more welcoming. Make sure to make reservations to avoid the lunchtime rush as we waited about 20 minutes to be seated.

Aw. It's a bummer I have to write this. Honestly from the minute we entered it was an awful experience.
The service was not great and the food was in a word, terrible. The grilled Turkey sandwich was a bunch of what tasted like lunch meat on sliced bread from the grocery store. The salad it came with had the worst dressing ever. The cranberry dipping sauce for the sandwich was also flavorless and gross. :( my fiancé got a sandwich and pasta salad that came with lays potato chips ... that was again flavorless and at this moment he feels sick from eating it. Lack luster worse than cafeteria

This has been our go-to neighborhood dinner spot since we moved into the general area 7 years ago. The staff is very personable. We have never once had a bad meal or bad experience. The menu is not very extensive, but everything is fresh and tasty, nothing tastes like it came from a restaurant supply company. While some might prefer a more extensive menu, the benefit is that they prepare everything on the menu extremely well. Outdoor dining is nice when weather permits. Covid protocols are excellent. It's got a great neighborhood eatery vibe and we enjoy popping in 3-4 times a month.

This place has been on my list of to try. I've driven by and it's always looked empty but tonight there was a decent crowd. Walked in, no hostess and I wasn't sure if it was seat yourself or not. Finally got seated.
The salmon salad is to die for. It is really tasty and flavorful. I would have given I it 5 stars but the salad was overdressed and the service was mediocre. It was also confusing if we pay at the table or walk to the register.
Overall I will be back to try a few other menu items.

I'll admit it -- I'm biased. We loved Bubba's when it was opened at this location over a decade ago. We miss Bubba's menu, the delicious food, and the funky atmosphere.
Stella Grill is such a bland replacement in every way (menu, food, atmosphere), but it seems the majority prefer it as it is busier than Bubba's ever was.
Anyone else miss Bubba's catfish club sandwich? Their peach cobbler!?
We do. We go to Stella's on occasion, but it just strikes us as a chain like restaurant. It's a little nicer than an Applebee's or a Chile's; but it&apos

All I can say is, get the steak and potato salad. Holy. Moly.
This place is right by my work, and it's so hard to convince myself not to stop here every day for lunch! I love how fast their lunch service is, you'll be in and out in under 45 minutes. This makes it an ideal place for a quick break, or a business meeting.
I've been here many times, as they are a staple in the Murray/Millcreek area. I've never had a bad dish, so don't be afraid to try whatever tickles your fancy that day. They are one of the few restaurants who actually nail multiple kinds of dishes on one

Solid five stars. Been here several times. I've never been disappointed by the service or the food. The soups are always spot on and the enchiladas are amazingly great lunch food not feeling. In fact they feel very fresh and healthy. Love the atmosphere always treated well by staff. Love to bring clients here for lunch. Would love to come for dinner sometime and try the wine/beer list.

I enjoy the quiet location of Stella Grill and the unique refurbished building. The parking lot lights, exposed air ducts, garage doors and patio corner provide a different atmosphere than your ordinary local eatery. Their house pasta is amazing, and I've enjoyed everything I've ordered. Their casual service is always great.

My fiancé and I finally decided to come check this little neighborhood spot out after a friend mentioned they like coming here for brunch. We pass it all the time and always wanted to check it out but never made a point to do it until this past weekend. We spent over 8 hours packing up our house and didn't feel like cooking our own dinner so we decided to treat ourselves to Stella. We must have arrived at just the right time because we didn't have to wait very long but after we finished the waiting area was packed with people waiting to be seated. I think we got there before 630.
