Dr. Openko was born in Kiev, Ukraine. She studied civil engineering before attending the University of Pittsburgh and earning her DMD degree in 2000. She graduated with an award in restorative dentistry and has advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, and BOTOX. Dr. Openko never stops learning-she takes continuing education courses all the time.

Awesome first visit. I started looking for a new dentist about 2 weeks ago as I recently relocated to the area. Dr Openko was close and had good reviews. She was super nice and was the first dentist in recent memory that recommended a specific toothbrush and toothpaste as well as general instructions on how to brush. Not that I didn't know how to brush before, but learned the correct amount of time to brush and was told to brush my teeth by sections. I've found my new dentist!

As with every appointment, the staff and Dr. Openko were kind, thorough, and caring. For so many years I avoided going to the dentist and then I found Gentle Dental Care and so very happy I did!!! Now I go every 6 months and happy to do so and the treatment is always wonderful. I recommend this office to everyone I meet because of the excellent care. I even had an implant which is amazing for someone who would practically faint at even a cleaning. Love Gentle Dental Care.
