Cary Auto Repair
If you are looking for an automotive place to serve you with quality, excellence and honesty. Then look no further than Cary Automotive Repair and Service for all your car needs. You will NOT find a place in the Cary/Raleigh/Durham area with a higher quality of EXCELLENCE to work on your car. I have been taking my car to them for the last 4 years and can say that every question has been answered.

No where will find someone to explain step by step what was wrong with your car. Turan and Jose will even show you what the problem is/was/or may be in your car. I feel fortunate to be a customer of such a business that excels in high excellence in all aspects of the business. Established 1989, Cary Automotive Repair and Service has been serving the community with advanced technology and unsurpassed customer service.
Services
It is always hard to find a good auto repair shop where you don't get ripped off. Turan is the owner of this business and one of the most honest people I have ever met. No matter what may be wrong or not wrong with my car he will take me in the garage and show me everything and even explain it so that I understand it.
For honest and fast service I recommend Cary Auto Repair. They are courteous and take the time to explain their diagnosis, sometimes showing me why a part might need replacement. The price for each service I has been fair. I have my personal as well as business vehicles serviced on a regular basis and have found their work to be reliable and trustworthy.

I still need to catch the mechanic's name, but between the owner, Chris, and the mechanic that usually helps me, this shop is the best in customer service. I trust them not to oversell and be upfront with me regarding costs and anticipated repairs. Very knowledgable. I am moving to the other side of Raleigh but will still work nearby, so I will try to come back to this shop as much as possible.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Value
I was in the area and my clutch master cylinder came apart on my 2000 F250. I heard this shop was under new management so I called them up to see if they could help. Chris and his team were A+. They had my truck back on the road in a timely manner and it drives well. The pricing was very fair. I would recommend giving these guys a try!

I dealt with Frank & Ron for years across 4 cars - Ford, VW, Mazda & now 2nd Subaru. They inspected a prospective used car purchase, steered me toward a smarter option, saving thousands for a better Mazda. Always very professional maintenance services = what’s needed when needed. Nothing more, nothing less - as if they were taking care of their own cars. Highly recommended.

Prompt inspection, clear quote with fair prices, quick repair turnaround time. Could not be happier with my experience here. A company vehicle went down and they had it back up and running before the end of the week. I'll be back in the future I'm sure.

Exceptional business! Ron is the nicest, straightforward person I have ever dealt with, not just in the automotive sector but EVER. They were fast, kept me informed and dealt with all the paperwork. They took a lot of the stress out of equation and even put up with my constant badgering. If you're in the Raleigh/Durham area and need auto work this is your place.

This auto shop was able to order the ETC control box that was needed for replacement and do the work the next day for $688, whereas Sport Durst quoted me $900+. However, another part "came off" during the job that they said was rusted. They said they cleaned off the rust of the piece they showed me; but there was not residual rust anywhere, even the inside of the break. They quoted $268 to repair it. Yes, I feel taken. Yes, I am female. No, I wi not use them again.

I had shopped a few car repair businesses to replace the ETC control box in my Jeep. I had already taken my Jeep to Sport Durst where I purchased it and received a quote of $900. This place had the best price of $675. The first day, I took it in around 1:00 and got confirmation of the cost. The man at the check in counter said it would take about 2.5 hours to complete. I called at their almost closing time to check the status. He said they ordered the part and it would arrive next day. Luckily, my son could pick me up from work and bring me home. The next day, I called again to check the status

New owners here who I have depended upon for over a decade at another independent garage.

They helped my 2002 VW Passat reach its 16th birthday with 160,000 miles. No 2002 Passat on the planet was in better shape thanks to Frank & Ron. From early on, they earned my trust by practicing the Golden Rule of auto repair: They would recommend the repair if my car was their car, and we'd do because I could trust them to say, "No, not yet" if they wouldn't do the repair now for themselves either. That's earned trust and with this two, it's worked very well for many years

I absolutely loathe going to the mechanic to get an issue assessed because I know there's a good chance someone will exploit my naivety in auto repair. Because of this reason I purposely chose Cary Auto since several of their reviews specifically mentioned their honesty and fair prices. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience. I brought my car in to have an issue assessed and after being told what the problem was and the cost to fix it, I wisely decided to step out of the shop to get a price quote from a different local shop that I had almost went to instead. Well the other shop quoted

Took my car in last fall after four dealerships in two states failed to figure out what was wrong with my car and charged me over a grand in repairs I didn't need. They got me in quickly, found the problem right away, charged me a very fair price, and helped solve the problem! I'll be taking my car here for all future service work.

I've been coming here for all my auto related repairs and maintenance needs for the past 2+ years and I'm ashamed that I haven't written a review for these guys yet. Hands down this is the best place to get any and all of your car related work done in the triangle area. I originally found these guys on Yelp because I lived close by, but even after I've moved I go out of my way to come here.

These guys here are super honest and price extremely well. They always take time to explain everything (even showing me broken parts and what exactly they are doing) and always get your

Had a major brake fluid leak going on and I didn't have the time or tools to fix it. Found this place via Yelp. With the shop only being about a mile down the road, I trusted the reviews and it paid off!

Technician was able to spot the issue immediately (rusted/cracked brake line in the rear). The part that I was most impressed on was that the tech brought me the cracked piping to show where the damage was at while in the midst of repairing the issue.

The pricing for this type of job can get expensive depending on where you go. Price wise, they were dead on and didn't "fluff

I am so grateful we brought my car here! Precision Auto Tune told me I needed an entire part replaced for $3300, I came to Cary Auto Repair to get another estimate, only to have them clearly explain to me that the problem was much simpler and could be fixed by replacing some fluid and I owed them a grand total of $82. What a huge difference! I wish that all businesses realized how far honesty will get them. Cary Auto Repair has won my loyalty and I won't bother taking my car anywhere else in the future when there's a problem.

I went to Cary Auto Repair based off of these other Yelp reviews, and I would definitely recommend it. My A/C was shot, and I explained that I didn't want anything too pricey. They worked with me to do a diagnostic, explained what was wrong, and then went about testing solutions, each time coming back into the waiting room to get my ok before doing anything. They really went out of their way to explain what was wrong. I felt like I was treated very fairly, which is not something you can say about a lot of auto repair places.

Having been to Cary Auto Repair twice, I can say with all sincerity that they are honest, upfront, and reasonably priced. I am the ultimate target for auto repair people (single female who knows nothing about cars), and they have been nothing but honest and sincere with me. Each visit I was bracing to spend a large amount of money to have my car fixed. In both instances, the repair was minor and I was charged very little, if anything at all. They could have easily told me I needed hundreds of dollars in repairs, but instead chose the honest route. I will always rely on them for all my automotive

I went here on a couple co-workers' recommendations for an NC State inspection. Of course, having your check engine light on will automatically fail you, so the folks at Cary Auto Repair went about diagnosing the problem. It was bad news for me since my O2 sensor was shot, but they made it as painless as possible.

The situation was explained thoroughly to me, and I was even allowed to go back into the shop and see how they were working. I didn't feel taken advantage of because I was a woman, and considering all they had to do, I was in and out in a jiff.
