Founded in 1970 by Newark native Patrick M. Pay for parking and can't get out cause no one plowed the parking lot at sylvan ave property. If someone have an emergency they can't get out.

Positive: Professionalism, Responsiveness
Lived in Teacher's Village for 2 years. Rarely had an issue and when I did management on site dealt with everything quickly. Packages are handled professionally. Parking lot attendants were always great. Gladys was great to work with moving into my apt and when I left.

This is in regards to the parking lot they have in teachers village. After not being able to access the parking lot abruptly on June 10, 2020, I was told to contact Blanca via email after calling Julio to understand the situation. This is unfortunate due to their agency having our contact information (e.g. email address, phone number, and mailing address) and our parking service was simply denied without prior notice.
Blanca informed us that we had a remaining balance of $375. We are confused about this remaining balance as we have been paying the $150 since we implemented the contract with Calello

THIS IS TRULY A NO STAR REVIEW! THEY ARE THE WORSE! This agency is only respectful to you when you are making a down payment and signing off for an apartment. After that, it is hard to contact them. Once you get in contact with someone, the customer service of the realtors and receptionists is terrible. They talk to you as if you are nothing. They always have disgusting attitudes without reason towards tenants. If you can avoid this agency, PLEASE TRY TO DO SO. There are plenty of agencies across the city that treat people with respect no matter your gender, race and/or financial status. Such a

Management is lazy! They care more about receiving payment rather than upkeep of the property. They try and fault you for just about any complaint that you may have. Properties are infested with mice and roaches. I transferred from one location to another and still have the same infestation issue so clearly Management isn’t doing their part to prevent this issue.

I lived in the cherry park apartments for 3 years. Rent increased annually which wouldn't really bother me but every time something broke down it never really got fixed. We had issues with our kitchen tiles, which finally got fixed after we said we'd hold our rent check, our intercom didn't work for 2.5 years, two of our air conditioners had mold, and the list could keep going. What really did it for me was when they raised the rent during a PANDEMIC! They told us its "only $25" but if thats how they feel then don't raise it during a time when families are already worrying about their current bills

This agency is ruthless even during a pandemic. Try to avoid this company if you can. Customer service is terrible, phone calls go unanswered and/or not returned. They do not care about their tenants. It’s all about the Benjamins. Also the attendant at Maiden Lane is rarely in his office during regular business hours.

..... when money becomes your God it is an issue, and you lose sight of what is most important, which is customer service and decency . The staff are only doing what they are instructed to do . Gladys is the best. I would recommend that you get everything in writing to insure that there are no issues down the road. Look long and hard before you leap.

Currently living in one of their locations. And honestly it's horrible. The employee's are pretty rude. Not much help when a problem comes. It's pretty much an on going tag game. I have a damaged ceiling and it's about to be a year in January 2018 and it still hasn't gotten taken care of. The floors were redone twice and the tiles are still lifting. I have hole in my wall and, half of my living area outlets don't work.
