I've lived here for over 3 years now and you know, it's not all that bad. The quality of the craftsmanship of the apartments could be better but it's alright, that doesn't bother me (until my cabinet doors constantly fall off).
Anyways, I usually am not the type of person to participate in community events or contests but this year, I decided that I wanted to participate in the Halloween door decorating contest. If only I could give zero stars I would. The apartment we moved in to had AC issues from day 1. They took almost a month to fix it and mind it this was in peak summer and it was uninhabitable. Come winter the AC stopped heating and continued to cause issues. Despite multiple complaints they would only fix it temporarily only for the AC to break down in a few months again. After this harrowing experience we decided to move out and it has been over 4 months since we moved out and they have not returned the security deposit after multiple email and call follow ups.

I have been here for about 2 month and i have to say i love it. I live in one Harrison before and it was not the same experience. The event here are awesome and the team is so nice! I love this part of town it feels like more of a neighborhood (even though their is construction going on). they had oktoberfest i have never been apart something like this before, Dominick and florence were great host. i cant wait for the next event

The reason for the harsh review is because the apartment listing stated it was an "open house" to view the apartment. Grossly inaccurate... We called six times and left three voice mails over the span of a few days to double check if appointments were required just in case. No response. Two hour drive later we're told appointments are required. The lady behind the desk simply says the listing is incorrect online and we're not the first to show up (so...remove the incorrect listing???). I would give zero if given a choice. I was searching for the apartment and happened to schedule a viewing and got a quote for the apartment I viewed. When I tried to apply, the link expired and the management asked me to apply to a different and will make a switch internally to give me an exact one I viewed. Deducted (100$ application fee+ 500$ administrative fee) and no communication back even after I reached out to them to show me the other layouts. After continuous calling for 2 days they get back to me with a different layout and say that's only option they are left with. Finally, they deducted

Heaven! Whichever time in a day you are getting bored just look out of the window, you will get visual treat to refresh your mood. When I moved in here with my husband in Feb 2021 this place have been like White Wonderland to us! As it's a start of summer we are getting fantastic summer vibes across the riverfront view. My wife and I lived there for two years and enjoyed our time there. The staff was friendly and helpful. They have a swimming pool, which unfortunately we never had a chance to use, but we used and took advantage all their other amenities, pre lockdown, including 1) Roofdeck 2) Game room with a pool table and video games 3) common work area with strong wi-fi 4) Free Starbucks coffee machine 5) TV room 6) Lockers for packages 7) Assigned parking 8) Gym. We liked the fact that living there made it easy for us to get into NYC via PATH. The walk to the station was 7 minutes. The staff was attentive

I moved across the country two years ago to work in NYC and a friend recommended I look in Harrison, NJ for an apartment. I viewed the apartments in the area and fell in love with Steel Works. While going from a 1400 sqft apartment to a 500 sqft studio was extremely intimidating, I've never felt more at home. Brand new community in an up and coming neighborhood. The Path train is a block away. Community has plenty of amenities. Great place to live !
Update: This is still a great community to live with great amenities and easy access to the Path station. I removed two star because after one year living there my lease was up and they informed me of a 25% increase in my base rent. On top of that an increase in parking monthly rates as well. For me that’s an increase of $500 per month for rent and parking. Keep in mind that the town of Harrison DOES NOT have rent control. So they can raise your rent

Staff are friendly community is fine but if you are looking for quiet never come to this community since the pool open its just sooo loud whole day u never can enjoy quiet music is loud also the people talk so loud even mid night u can hear them screaming... lived in many community that attached pool never experience noise like this
