Services
We recognize that both the strengths and needs of each individual client are unique. As such, the focus of Advent's programs is individualized treatment that builds upon our client's strengths and addresses their needs--needs that may include the physical, emotional, spiritual, social, or a unique combination of them all.

Advent is a great place! Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. I was very lucky to find a place that really helped me. I was seeing Rachel Connett and she is a great counselor/therapist. She goes well beyond the call of her job to ensure that you are in a good safe place. I really appreciated all she did for me in the years at Advent. She provided me several tools that really helped me. The front desk is extremely helpful and will respond to you in a timely fashion. Advent takes mental health very seriously and will do everything they can to help you. The atmosphere is very safe so you can

I have been seeing Bruce Pickett, an LMFT, at the Advent Group Ministries. Bruce is easy to talk to, insightful, empathetic, and challenges me to see my own fault in whatever issue we are discussing. My husband and I saw him a couple of years ago, concerning drug addiction issues with my younger son, and the chaos that this brought into our lives. Bruce made it clear to me that I was enabling my son, and that it was time to show some "tough love." Thanks to his advice, and our follow-through, my son "hit bottom," and made it to rehab.

This organization seems to be fraught with supervisors/management that display an wide array of questionable character and intent. I question the credentials of each person I’ve talked with. Prevarication seems to prevail at every level, and clandestine activity seems to permeate the entire organization. I personally regret exposing my loved one to their seemingly inept and hypocritical ways, and advise anyone looking for an effective and altruistic intervention program to look elsewhere. They appear to do just the bare minimum, and then ‘blame’ the shortcomings on the client. So don’t

RE: The Nest:
I was informed it was Shut it Down!!! HOW can it still be up and running?
8 IMMEDIATE RISKS!? In a facility for VULNERABLE INJURED MINORS! Those are only what they've been 'caught' for reviewed last in 2010!
See calqualitycare org for the many violations & seriousness of such.
If only I could give specifics without causing further harm to victims and subjecting myself to suit.
Please do your homework on this facility prior to funding or advocating!
