Dr. Cutler cured this big guy's fear of the dentist I initially needed lots of shots (previously a phobia), and I have Tourette's, so dentists in general were an avoidance until I basically didn't have a choice anymore due to pain in my gums. It is a joy to write that the past is over, and the fear is behind me! Years now, he has been my normal dentist since 2016. I had to have some teeth taken out due to my past sugar love, neglect, and probably years of fear. I now regularly have no cavities, and no fear of shots. So happy to be writing this and being in the now! Thank you cool

I chose Dr Cutler after my dental insurance changed, and I'm glad I did. Dr Cutler is a very good dentist, and seems dedicated to providing excellent care. The staff is professional and friendly. His may not be the most chic dental office, but his dentistry is top-notch.

If I could leave less than 1 star, I would. By far the most unprofessional group of medical nonprofessionals on the West Coast. I scheduled an appointment to have a broken cap repaired and got into an accident, breaking my foot. I spent that day in the ER. When I called to reschedule, the witch at the front desk told me the only way they would do it is if I come in and pay in advance for my treatment and then schedule it. When I asked for her full name, she hung up on me. DISGUSTING.

Alisa or Alise (the woman that answers phones and sets appointments) would not tell me her name so this is based on what I remember it to be. She was rude and obnoxious, hanging up on me multiple times. I guess I will never find out how good a dentist Dr Cutler is because his front end stinks.

I highly recommend Dr. Cutler, he is patient, gentle and kind and understands how some of us are "crazy" afraid of needles. He is now "my hero".

Excellent and thorough. Caught some issues that my previous dentist didn't notice. Would have been a lot more expensive and painful. Good move coming to Dr. Cutler.
Do not expect a fancy or modern office, just solid Dentistry by professionals.

Dr. Cutler and his team are great. They are very reasonable and honest when it comes to your teeth. I have been going there for about 1 year now and just recently starting taking my husband there. I cant imagine going anywhere else they do everything! Just had the doctor personally take time out of his day to see how my husband was doing after just having a deep cleaning done yesterday. What great service and care. Good job folks keep up the good work !

Dr. Cutler and his staff are AMAZING! They made my fiancé's smile and confidence boost up incredibly! They have helped us save money with our insurance and always go above and beyond! Anytime he has had any major dental work such as a tooth extraction, they've always called us and asked how he is doing, make sure he is feeling ok! He recently got a new implant and now smiles more than I've ever seen him smile before! Thank you Dr. Cutler and staff, you're the best!

I did not like going to dentists. I would let a problem go on forever, years even, until I went to see Dr. Cutler. He is just amazing. He has fixed all my issues even the difficult ones, saved a tooth that no one else said could be saved. Every procedure goes easily, minimal discomfort, never any swelling, explains everything he is doing. Highly recommend him. Does your dentist personally call to see how you are doing? He does. His office staff is welcoming, feels like a family. Thank you guys.

Simply the best! I ended up at Dr. Cutler after being told by another Dentist that I needed a tooth extracted after having gone through the grueling process of a root canal prep. Well, the bottom line after going to Dr. Cutler for a second opinion, is I DID NOT need my tooth extracted. While I did need a root canal, Dr. Cutler was nothing short of amazing about it. I have alot of anxiety when it comes to going to the Dentist for ANYTHING and he made my three root, root canal seem like a walk in the park. Love him!!! Even asked if I could hug him afterwards I was so grateful! If your looking

Let me tell you of a dental experience that I had never had in the 57 years of my life... Just moved to the Lakeside, CA. area with my significant other recently... And once settled we decided that it was time to find a local dentist to care for our teeth... We searched the internet for hours and found Arnold Cutler D.D.S., Inc. of Gentle Dentistry… located at 9927 Channel Road Lakeside, CA. 92040. We read all the reviews and found that his patients really liked his clinic... So we decided to call and make an appointment... Well, let me tell you that I wasn't expecting the type of service

Best dental people EVER. Do yourself a favor and switch to these guys right now. So, I'm one of those fortunate that doesn't need a lot of dental care. Cleaning, X-rays, etc. that's about it. Although I've been going there for years now, I haven't really needed much. I'll get back to that in a minute. These people are amazing. Always friendly and professional. My hygienist, Kelli, is really careful and gentle. Before going to this office, I ALWAYS had to have music in headphones or something to keep from tearing the arms off the chair. Kelli takes the time and makes

Staff is super nice and welcoming. Dr. Cutler, is the nicest dentist I've ever met, has a sense of humor. And he takes the time to explain everything to you, plus all his equipment is high tech and up to date. First time I've ever had a virtual tour of the inside of my mouth. Funny yet very interesting. And while my last dentist told me I had 2 cavities Dr. Cutler had a machine that actually checks to see if it is a cavity.... It wasn't! (Has me wondering if the past work I had done at the other dentist was necessary, and plus the money I spent. SMH!)
I also got the offer of Lifetime

One morning I woke up and my right rear lower molar was talking to me enough that I figured it was time to see my friend Dr. Cutler. I called the office and told Kathy what the problem was and she looked at my last check up and told me that I had a crack in that tooth the last time I was seen and that a crown was the way to go on that one. Now since I don't have dental insurance and pay with cash she informed me of the approximate cost of the procedure and set an appointment for me. I arrive to my appointment and sure enough when Dr. Cutler showed me the tooth with his ultra modern camera three

Dr. Cutler and his staff are super knowledgeable, stay up-to-date with the latest dental technology, and are genuinely committed to serving their clients. They care about what happens to you and are as flexible as possible to be able to accommodate your life circumstances.
Whether you're in need of regular dental check-ups or serious dental work, Dr. Cutler and staff are the best option. It's never pleasant to have someone drill around in your teeth, but he is so calm and gently explains what he is going to do next and why and what you should expect to feel, etc that the experience is about as

I have been going to see Dr. Cutler since about 2000, and he and his team never fail to impress me on each visit! They are all so friendly. I love Kelly! She always remembers what we talked about 6 months earlier! I feel like I have known her for ever! And Dr. Cutler is such a great dentist! Whenever I have had cavities filled, he has always called me that night to follow up and make sure everything is going good, since I tend to have my cavities filled without any meds. I would highly recommend this fantastic staff to everyone!

DR. CUTLER IS THE BEST DENTIST EVER!!! I have to say that my experience there was awesome and everyone there is so friendly. With my husband being in the military and moving from location to location, it's hard to establish a place to go to all the time. So when I found Dr. Cutler I was so happy I found my new dentist.

Dr. Cutler is by far the best and is very thorough when it comes to explaining the process in what he will be doing to your teeth. He made me feel very comfortable and I couldn't complain about it. He answered all of my questions and I even got to see on camera when he

This is a great Dentist for children, people with sensitive teeth, or a nervousness associated with the Dentist. Dr. Cutler is an awesome Gentle Dentist. You will feel at ease and walk away with a great experience every time.

I went to Dr. Cutler after winning a raffle prize for free whitening at his office. It was a refreshing change to walk into a dentist office that felt like the dentist I went to as a child, not a huge office where you are treated like a number.

I returned to my primary dentist (huge office) after I started having a toothache a few months later. After about 5 minutes of x-rays and looking at my mouth my normal dentist informed me that I needed to have a tooth pulled (and not the one that was bothering me!) and then get 2 new crowns and a bridge for the small fee of $5,000. Needless to say I got

Dr. Cutler, by using a technique that he has found to be successful on many of his patients, saved me hundreds of dollars by reusing the perfectly good crown. Most importantly he saved me from having to lose a body part forever. He saved my tooth! For that I am very grateful!

I have to upgrade my previous review from a 4 to a 5. Here is why. I intend to retain as many teeth as I can until the day I die! When a crown that was installed by a different dentist broke off of one of my molars with no tooth material left to affix another crown to, I was in fear of losing the tooth and possibly the one above it. The thought of losing two teeth had me distraught. There was no pain associated with the crown breaking off because a root canal had already been performed on the tooth. I put the crown in a Ziploc bag and called Dr. Cutler's office which on this day, Friday
