The city was founded in the early 1870s beside the Santa Ana River by John W. North, a staunch temperance-minded abolitionist from Tennessee, who had previously founded Northfield, Minnesota. A few years after, the navel orange was planted and found to be such a success that full-scale planting started.
The Wood Streets Neighborhood was established between 1910 and 1920 when the City of Riverside extended Magnolia Avenue to connect with Main and Market. This neighborhood is roughly one square mile and received its namesake as most of the streets are named after trees or contain the suffix wood.

The absolute worst! I purchased a property that they managed. They also acted as the sellers agent. They never responded promptly, withheld information, played games to extend and "wait out the clock," and shirked their responsibility of removing tenants before closing. They were completely unprofessional. I would avoid this company at all costs.
