Avoid this place Like its Covid im serious. My order was almost $30 just for hot and sour soup with salt and pepper shrimp. I get Inflation is happening but most chinese restaurants charge $3.99 - $4.99 MAX for their hot and sour soup like Liu's Chop Suey or House of Wong, but here its $11.50 for overheated, watered down, barely flavored soup. I wont post pictures because of the amount of times I had to spit the food out. The salt and pepper shrimp was so soggy, it seemed like they just used whatever shrimp was in their soup to prepare it, ZERO crunch, with raw garlic in the mix. Raw. Garlic

If you want lots of food and have 3 or 4 people, order the family style. We had so much leftovers, we ate again the next day at home. Service was great and staff was really friendly

This is gonna sound weird but trust me when I say that Maple Garden has the BEST chicken wings I've ever had. When I think Chinese food, the last thing I'd think of is amazing chicken but sometimes all I come here for are pans of chicken for dinner and potlucks. Don't get me wrong, their other food they have is delicious Chinese food but I sometimes wake up craving these wings. They're a light golden color, it reminds me of shrimp canton batter, but better somehow. It's super light and airy but magically crispy without being too oily and perfectly seasoned with salt. It

This is one of my favorite restaurants! They have great food with fast service. We never have to wait to be seated nor do we have to wait long before the first dish is served. The service is impeccable, my glass is always filled by a non intrusive staff member. Sometimes I'll look at my glass and be surprised that it's been filled while I was busy conversing, that's how awesome the staff is. Richard the owner is always at the restaurant. I've always felt safe going there as the restaurant this big enough to socially distant diners. My favorites are the duck, honey walnut shrimp

Convenient parking in their lot as well as street parking. We ordered take out for mother days last minute and happy they're were able to do so. Called in at around 3 and they had it ready at 4 for pick up.

Ordered the intestines, ong choi, walnut shrimp, salted fish fried rice, fried tofu, and the salt & pepper lobster. Maybe because it was busy on Mother's Day but the food was a little bland. The fried rice, shrimp, & lobster were probably the best out of everything. The ong choi had very little to minimal flavor. I will give them benefit of the doubt that they probably had

Really awesome lunch plate! It's two choices for $11.50 and comes with hot and sour soup. I think they special make the food for every order as it tasted just cooked! It's amazing this place is actually more affordable and gives better portions than Panda Express! Definitely enough for two meals! The chunks of chicken in the Kung Pao were very generous, large skinless chopped up dark meat and not fatty which is just how I prefer, and the vegetables were cooked to just cooked and still had a nice crisp! I'd definitely recommend the Kung Pao chicken lunch combo!

We were craving chinese food after a hike and stopped by. The service was soo good! One of our favorite dishes is tofu with crab, and it wasn't on the menu, but they created a dish especially for us! We would highly recommend this place.

Maybe I'm just a snob when it comes to good Chinese food, but I thought this place wasn't good at all. The hot n sour soup tasted like starch, or a bunch of thickening ingredients. It was definitely bland and I'm bummed because it was $10. Next, the Mongolian beef was a bunch of pieces of flank steak with string carrots. Lastly, the honey walnut shrimp, again, just bland. Nothing I would ever eat again. I find it hard to believe the people who work here actually think this food is good. It's a stomach ache is what it is. Never again.

Excellent restaurant in terms of fresh and hot cooked meals. The space is very limited, tight and a bit uncomfortable, But the
food makes up for it. This is one stop there will always be considered if I travel into town.

Fried chicken!!! One of the better one on the island...REALLY crispy, not greasy, juicy and tasty on the inside, nicely flavored...that is what I go there for.

Not the most healthy dish, but WTheck, we all live once so I just gobble it all down, skin, batter and all...gotta indulge once in a while eh?

A great $14.95 lunch buffet price and the food is really good! I like the bitter melon with black bean sauce, orange chicken, sweet sour pork, salt and pepper shrimp, pig's feet, and a lot more! A great value and never disappoints !

The parking lot is a bit small and tight so if you arrive

First time I ordered for delivery fromm Maple Garden! They did not disappoint! I personally don't like sweet and sour chicken. With that being said I love their fried chicken with their sweet and sour sauce in the side. They are amazingly crispy good at the restaurant & it's still just as crispy when you order takeout or delivery.

I also had their eggplant with pork. It's was so good. I can never get enough of eggplant! I love how it all came in Chinese takeout containers!!! The way I remember eating Chinese food, it's the best way to eat takeout!

#65 review for 2019 (checked-in 01DEC19).

Flavor: I was invited to a small get-together here and decided to get the AYCE dinner buffet. For a small restaurant, they had A LOT of choices on the buffet line but do not expect quality food. For starches, they had white rice, vegetarian chow fun, vegetable chow mein and vegetarian fried rice. For vegetables, they had mixed vegetables, hot bean curd, and hot garlic eggplant. For appetizers, they had chicken salad, deep fried won ton. For mains, they had pig feet, steamed fish fillet, salt & pepper shrimp, kung pao chicken, dry fried boneless

The buffet was closed for the night when we came in. I was able to use Entertainment Book coupon. I had problems getting the book to accept my membership. For some reason it said my membership expired when a few hours before it was good. So after logging in again I was still a member while here. I showed the coupon and we ordered four dishes. The hot sour soup hit the spot on the rainy night. The eggplant with pork had nice big pieces of eggplant. The chicken with black mushrooms even had more than one black mushroom. Still I would have liked a bit more black mushrooms and chicken in the dish.

The buffet is an excellent value considering the choices of the food offered. $18.95 for dinner will get you salt and pepper shrimp, chow fun, chow mein, roast duck, etc.

Don't expect the quality to be as good but where can you get unlimited servings of shrimp and roast duck for under $20? For example, roast duck at Mei Mei, Nam Fong, or Asian Mix costs from $13 - $14 a pound. Honey spare ribs will cost you over $20 an order at Moon Garden. Think you got my point.

Albeit being cheap choices, my favorites are the chow fun and chow mein. Great wok taste with enough oil so it's

Maple Garden was the perfect place for a family gathering. Last week Friday, we celebrated a very special person's birthday here at this venue. When we got there, the gracious host greeted us and directed our party to a private room to the back area of the restaurant. In this room, there were two large round tables of 10 to comfortably seat the 20 of us. It was a great area for our celebration. Right after we started setting up the room, another person came in to introduce herself as our party coordinator (PC) for the evening. When the last guest arrived, our PC started to bring out the food

I mentioned that this is yen king in my previous post because although they kept the name maple garden, yen king took over this restaurant. We had a coupon from the entertainment book to get one dish free. It doesn't apply to the buffet which offered a lot of choices for about $19 but it didn't have any of the dishes we wanted to order.

The food we ordered this time were delicious and original. We were greeted by the owner/manager who suggested their special dishes.

Pea shoots/sprouts - 5 stars - a seasonal dish that was slightly less crunchy like gailan and a less strong green taste

Clean place, the workers are kind and fast, and food is always good. The portion sizes are good size too for the price. Cute small place that is usually quiet and casual. You can place an order online and or call the place - whatever you feel more comfortable with. If you order online I didn't or couldn't (not entirely sure which one) add a drink but if you order sesame chicken or one of their combination plates it comes with rice and you can choose a free side of an egg roll or two soups ex: egg drop soup - which is delicious).
