Wonderful place friendly employees. Could have ripped me off but didn't. My car was overheating. Turns out My radiator cap loose.. no outrageous charge. They were so kind didn't even charge me for the 1/2 gallon of coolent my car needed.. I'll be back ... Great customer service... Makes this old women think of long ago service... I started to cry cause these guys were so honest. Checked my car out as I'm going on a trip to take my cremated, military spouses ashes home to.the beach where he grew up... .. Took my car in for a tune up today and Ben and Gary really go the extra mile to ensure you know if there is anything that may need to be repaired now or in the future
My car has 90,000 miles on it and all it was needing was a tune up at this time and no recommendations either
I asked them to check the serpentine belt and replace if necessary, most repair shops would have just went ahead and replaced it weather it needed it or not. Ben informed me that the belt was fine and no need to replace
I have finally found a repair shop that is honest, friendly

My husband, Tim, purchased a 1971 Ford pickup truck with the idea that I would be able to refurbish it myself. After my buddy and I got the wiring done and got it started, we realized it needed a new engine and some other major work. My friend, Bill, worked at Gary's Automotive and I took it here for the rest of the work needed. Over the last year, Gary's has put in a new 302 engine, replaced the carburetor and installed electronic ignition, all new pumps etc, disc brakes, air conditioning, power steering and brakes. My starter went out in January 2019 so I called around for estimates. Gary's had the lowest quote with highest reviews so I took my 08 Toyota Matrix in for repair. Craig had excellent customer service and service was completed quickly. Fast forward to September and the starter went out... again. Gary's Auto replaces the malfunctioning part under their 12 month warranty, no hassle and back on the road. Will continue to use Gary's Auto because of the outstanding customer service and the fact that they stand behind the work they do.

Idk! i really wanted to like this place and they were super nice to me upfront - but i'm just going to rate my experience. This is also my first bad review by the way if you want to check out my other reviews.
So i went here to get my AC checked out, 1 extra star for the fact they gave me a free estimate .. i guess? They saw my compressor was leaking but quoted me $900. I post this because that is ACTUALLY !! insane ! other places quoted me like $500 and i thought that was too steep but wow. $900 was messed up. the part itself can be bought online for $250.
Here's where it gets bad.

I recommend Gary's to anyone looking for honest, fair, knowledgable vehicle service and repair. Even with an intermittent issue and an "I hear a weird noise" as the only information to go on, the guys didn't give up until they found the problem and corrected it. They're trustworthy, patient with my questions, and priced fairly.

Make Gary's your go-to mechanic! Had a radiator problem. Was quoted a price at a national chain shop, then brought it to Gary's. Saved almost $300, have a 1-year service warranty, lifetime part warranty, and the confidence in knowing he'll still be there next time I have a problem. Wow! Gary's is the best shop in town that I've been to. They are so professional and really willing to help out. They do what they can to get your vehicle inspected day of and always get it back in a timely manner. They never charge for the inspection. If there is something they don't usually do, they refer you out with excellent referrals. I just took my car to a place Gary referred me to for body work. Told them Gary sent me. I showed up, they fixed the car, didn't even charge me. Gary is so nice and being a girl, who doesn't know anything about cars, I never feel like
