Stephanie has been a valued member of this office since 1996 when she graduated from ROP Dental Assisting in Chico. Stephanie and her husband live in Oroville. They have two sons serving in the navy and two beautiful grandchildren. When not working, Stephanie loves camping, gold-panning, crossfit, and soap making.
Melody is the longest standing employee of this office, cheerfully welcoming patients at the front desk for over 20 years. She was born in El Sobrante, California and has been a resident of Oroville since moving here in 1973. Melody loves horses, softball, racquetball, snow skiing, and any other sport she tries.
Description: A composite is a resin material that is chemically bonded to a tooth to replace missing or decayed tooth structure. It comes in many shades, so it will appear just like your natural tooth structure. Reason for having a Composite: Composites are used to replace missing or damaged tooth structure.

Needed a cleaning and a new crown (from years ago)
Dr Appels office was able to do both services and cater to my schedule. Everybody from the front desk, hygienists, his assistant and Dr Appel were awesome. no pain, explained everything as the procedures went on. great experience! thank you Dr Appel, Erin, Jennifer, Melody and Trish total 5 star practice.

I have had nothing but a awesomely great experience at Dr Appel's office. All of these staff is friendly and very informative. All of the staff and Dr Appel go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable at all times. I highly recommend Dr Appel and his practice for great dentistry. By far hands down best dentist I've ever had.

Dr.Appel and his staff are amazing..I have extensive dental needs..they have gone out of their way to fit me in for extra for appointments. I've been extremely apprehensive about going to a dentist as chemo and radiation destroyed what I had. They really go out of their way to make you comfortable. The nitrous is an added free bonus. Every step of the way I understand what is happening and what is going to happen. I have a long way to go but I'm so glad I chose this office. I know the outcome will be amazing! I have and will continue to highly recommend this office!
