Milestone Real Estate, Inc. started in the spring of 2008 as Next Level Property Management, a company focusing on residential investment. Later, we also began serving clients through the investment selection and purchasing process, eventually becoming a full service real estate company. We list property for sale and help residential clients purchase property to call home.
MBA, CIAS, Principal Broker and Realtor Professional Experience: Right after college, Ken spent ten years in sales selling printing and technology solutions to corporate accounts for Fortune 500 companies and small family owned companies in Boulder County. He has a B.A. and an MBA. Ken has been involved with real estate through property management for six years.
Every investor has a different goal. Each goal is as unique as the investor. But goals often involve a combination of equity appreciation over time along with cash flow and income generation. Goals may also involve the use of leverage for increased return. The time horizon is different for everyone.
Listing a property for sale can be a process that takes weeks, maybe months, or years of planning depending on the situation. We are here to offer our expertise and experience related to listing property at any point in that process. There are questions you may have. Does it make sense to lease the property and sell it later or does it make sense to list it now?
At Milestone Real Estate, Inc. we enjoy working alongside buyers to select the right property. We know this process can take just a few weeks or longer than a year in some situations. We know when the market is moving in such a way that you have to act fast or wait for something different to come along.

I was SO impressed with Ken and the help he gave my mother and I!

Ken helped us buy our first house, sell it, and buy our second house. Through it all he was thorough, professional, helpful, and flexible. He knows the Longmont/Boulder real-estate scene well, and offers helpful advice and insight that I would not even know to ask about. Deciding on a real estate agent was a big decision for my wife and I, there were so many to choose from. We ending up deciding to work with Ken Allen and couldn't be happier we did!. He did an amazing job selling our house (for more than what we thought we could) and securing our new home. We've used Ken for three real estate sales and purchases. Always reliable, works hard for his clients and protects the best interest of his clients.
Ken, in a slowing and competitive market, sold our condo in 10 days while other similar units stayed on the market much longer.
My final recommendation for Ken is that because he also performs Property Management, he has a thorough understanding of neighborhoods and replacement costs for the components of a house. This knowledge has been very useful when deciding where to invest our money.

We bought a home with Ken Allen of Milestone Real Estate. It was a positive experience. He was very responsible and responsive. We believed we were in very capable hands, which is what we needed for the biggest financial transaction we have ever made . Ken's recommendations for other partners (i.e. mortgage broker) also were solid. We would definitely work with him again, should the need arise.

I really enjoyed working with Ken. He was willing to schedule tours and meet with me for many months while I determined what I wanted and didn't want in a house. He was also very knowledgeable of things that I should watch for while evaluating a house. So I just wanted to get this up as soon as possible in the hopes that future tenants are not taken advantage of. You will see above Milestone Real Estat has negative reviews from other tenants.
My story is that Ken A the agent who runs Milestone shredded my lease after I signed it and told me that the landlord would not fulfill their side of the deal. I do not mean to defame anyone or state anything untrue so I will leave it at that. Ken Allen has now put me in a position with no place to live and no ability to seek redress outside of court which as you know is expensive and not really an option

I used Ken with Milestone Realty for two house sales the past few years. Slum lords... sums it up. Milestone was the management company that managed the house that we lived in while we rented a home for 2 and a half years. We were told that the yard had a sprinkler system and we were excited for the detached garage. It took a year and a half to get power to the garage, and when they did that they destroyed the sprinkler system. We never once had working sprinklers. We had an early spring storm that blew off shingles and caused our garage to leak. It took them six months to fix it, not until late fall, and then the fix had different colored shingles from the rest of

My recent purchase of a condo in Longmont went very smoothly because of Ken's superior real estate skills. I chose Ken because I had met him at a networking event many years ago but he always kept in touch. I was impressed with his process from the beginning: He sat with me for an hour, interviewing me (the first question was: "What about your present home are you going to miss?") I am in the military and was lucky enough to have found Ken and his team to manage my property. They have done an outstanding job throughout the years (9 years), leaving me with minimal stress. There is nothing worse than being on the opposite side of the country and things don't go as planned with your property. My sister bought a home in Boulder and had a very positive experience with Ken. So she recommended him to my mother when she was considering buying in Boulder. My mother was ambivalent about moving across the country and unsure whether she should buy, rent, or join a retirement community. Ken was extremely patient and 'met her where she was at.'
