The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) defines recovery as "A process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and strive to reach their full potential."Recovery impacts many areas of our lives, including our health, our homes, our purpose, and our community.
Dealing with addiction can be very confusing. People generally have a lot of questions prior to seeking treatment. Here are the answers to some common questions that we have heard from clients. If you have questions not listed below, please contact us and we will be happy to answer them! If you answered yes to both of these questions, it would probably be helpful for you to talk with someone about your substance use.
