We went to Aquitaine for brunch. Most of the options were very French, and perfect for someone looking for something a little different from typical brunch fare. The restaurant itself had a modern bistro feel, and was very accommodating of our luggage (we stopped here on the way to the train station). However, I found my meal to be lackluster. I ordered the Omelette Alsacienne, which includes mushrooms, gruyere, and thyme. I did not taste thyme at all, and there was hardly any cheese in the omelette. It was overwhelmingly mushroom flavored, and a little greasy for my tastes. The lyonnaise potatoes

Overall excellent spot. Cute little French brasserie feel. The special of the day was delicious (brie, honey covered apple slices and concord grape jam). Tuna tartare japonaise was a little bland. Butternut squash bisque was flavorful. Escargot was delicious. Steak frites Aquitaine was cooked well but the hanger steak was not my favorite. Would've been better to stick with the parisian version with the NY steak. Potato gratin was interesting... It was more like a lasagna but delicious none the less. The creme brûlée finished our meal and was also delicious. Definitely would eat here again.

My husband and I went to Aquitaine for our one year wedding anniversary. We had Alexis as our waitress. We sat outside trying to enjoy the last of the warmer days for outdoor dining. The meal from start to finish was delicious! Alexis our waitress was amazing and the sweetest. I definitely recommend going!

It's definitely a busy restaurant, especially weekends. I enjoy their choices of sides with the main dish. I got the duck breast and even though I don't like poultry's breast meat, I enjoyed this a lot. It's savory, moist and with a hint of smoke. The peas is a nice pairing. The hanger steak (medium rare) was a bit too rare for my taste but the texture was really nice. The pate with truffle is really good and could be eaten by 2 people with their bread, butter and the pickled veggies.

Excellent French cuisine near the south end. Been to Aquitaine several times and have not been disappointed any of those times. The duck dishes are prepared really well, and there's a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating.
Their dessert selection is full of rich dishes. The chocolate mousse was a favourite of ours. The only thing I'll mention to watch out for is the wait time for food, in the evenings at least, can take a while. The prices are also indicative of a nice French restaurant.
Regardless, looking forward to coming back here soon!

Have been here for a weekend dinner in the summer, and also a Saturday brunch. I recommend reservations on Open Table because of how popular this place gets. Ambiance and decor are very nice; can take great group pictures of your party or even stuff for IG if you're into that. Showed the menu to a friend from France and he confirmed there was ample examples of "real" French dishes on the menu. Everything else is upscale American and then some nice cocktails, wines, brunch specials, etc. Was not disappointed in the food either time I went. Enough variety for vegans, vegetarians, pescatarians

Had a very tasty brunch, loved the decor and vibe! We started out with a delightful aperol spritz and a super tasty espresso martini which were the perfect start to a relaxing day. For our meal we went for the duck hash which was rich and savory, and the skillet scramble with asparagus and potatoes on the side. The portions were good to not leave me too stuffed and also to not waste food. I think overall the food was good but what was most memorable was the ambiance and feeling of being in an authentic French cafe.

Stopping in for brunch and have to say the staff were courteous and friendly. The food presentation as you can see from photos not appetizing. But the taste was very nice. Potatoes seasoned well, the eggs nice and fluffy for the omelet. Their version of friend toast is not what I am used too and have to return due to them being deep friend. Didn’t state on the menu. Over nice atmosphere and would try again.

Quaint cute french style place to eat
Food: went for brunch. Had a decent breakfast selection mostly. I ordered the french onion soup, croque madame, and duck hash+eggs. Duck hash and eggs has a spicy sauce that was very good. The croque madame was mustard strong which I enjoyed. The french onion soup had a slight bitterness so it was not my favorite. For drinks, I had the lavender+elderflower spritz and the rise and shine. Both drinks were amazing and well balanced. The only dessert available for brunch is creme brulee which is surprising since having a sweet pastry is common in french culture

What an amazing gem! The bread served at the beginning already started this great meal. It was so good we asked for even more.
The appetizer was escargots. Caution, it's very hot. More bread actually came with this dish, and we used every piece of bread to dip in the sauce and accompany the escargots. The saltier escargot with the bread and it's crunch was a magical combination.
Next was the gnocchi. Portion size was a bit small, but nonetheless enough. It was not as "al dente" as you'd normally get it, and was much softer. However, I did thoroughly enjoy the flavor
