We are new to the complex and excited about moving here! I had to post this review because Lisa in the office is incredibly amazing! We had an issue with an early delivery to the new apartment and Lisa was so patient and worked with us to ensure that the situation was handled all within the rules of our lease. She explained the rules in a professional manner and we were able to work out the situation so that the boxes were not left overnight. I feel very pleased in moving here knowing that Lisa is on staff and have the care about our concerns as new tenants. Also, the phones are always answered

I should preface this by saying that I never lived at Chesapeake Landing Apartments. However, I do give them one star for the following reasons: approximately 2 months ago I began my apartment search and I called the main office at Chesapeake Landing. I was immediately transferred to an answering service, which was nice, and gave my information and request for a call back. About a week later, after receiving no phone call and no email, I called again. I again got the answering service, told the receptionist that I had called previously and asked when they would give a call back. The receptionist

The leasing office staff take offense that makes them unfairly bias and take cmplaints TOO personal when a tenant criticizes how they operate or request maintenance repairs that should have been repaired/fixed/done BEFORE they allow a tenant to take possession of the apt. The maintenance personnel I've experienced that have been in my apartment was slow, did unacceptable, tacky and incompetant maintenance work in my apt and never left my apartment as he found it (even after I was forced to leave him a note asking him to please leave my apt. as he found it when he is done). This complex is a difficult place to live. My family and I have very little peace living here. The staff in the leasing office are unnecessarily disrespectful. I have called with complaints and the receptionist will raise her voice, argue with me and even hang up the phone on me. Sometimes I wonder why I'm even paying rent to live in this place. They treat us like we have no rights and they don't care about our complaints. Recently there have been so many rats running around my apartments its unbearable and I know I'm not the only one with this issue because most of the neighbors in my building
