A great experience, thank you! This all began with getting my oil changed (elsewhere) and the technician informing me that I have a 'major' oil leak around my oil filter. I called Auto Medic with the hopes of getting a time I could come in and have it looked at - I know nothing about automechanics. Jason invited me to come down and they would check it out. As I waited I noticed three seperate customers picking up their cars and all were very satisfied - this was a good sign. I took my car here to diagnose what i knew was a coolant leak. Lee was my diagnosing mechanic and he took me under my vehicle and showed me everything he had found in his inspection. I love the honesty and transparency of this company. It was confirmed that it was my radiator and they also did a tire rotation. I have an old ford explorer sport 2001. The problems was. The shifting gear, key slot get stucked all the time, and car ran rough and more issues 😔. But, Auto Medic Technicians Lee fixed the problems of my car 😊. And now, my car run great! They fixed all the issues. They did an excellent job. Thank you! My car broke down, I called Jason at 5:56pm, and he still answered the phone and got me on the schedule to get my car in first thing in the AM. My band was on tour, and our van went into limp mode. I called to see if I could get it checked out immediately, because we had a show in Vegas that night. Jason said to bring it in and they'd check it out.
They replaced the crankshaft position sensor, fixed a coolant leak, recharged our AC and fixed that leak, and replaced a strut mount. They had to cut off the old and weld on the new mount, because Ford thinks it's cool to make parts un-servicable.

Automedic has been my source for repairs for years. Just recently I experienced unusual vibrations at low rpm. The diagnosis was spot on. The work in fact pertained to the transmission and he referred me to another reputable transmission specialist. Jason at the Automedic is very good at diagnosing. I don't think I ever paid for an unnecessary repair.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I trust these guys. I don't even live in Ventura (I am in Hollywood and travel often to Ojai), but after the service I got here, I will bring my car back here for any and all mechanical needs.
