We were formerly known as 5-Star Exhaust and Quick Lube. The 5-Star shop has been in business for 16 years in Lexington. In April of 2018, the owner decided to retire and sold the business to one of his long-time employees - Ryan Dougherty. Ryan started at 5-Star over 10 years ago and worked his way up from mechanic to lead technician, to shop foreman, then to shop manager.
When presented with the opportunity to purchase the business, he happily accepted. Even though I have changed the business name, the shop still retains the same amazing staff, fair prices, honest assessment of your vehicle, and quality repairs you have grown to expect. If you are in need of a Stock Exhaust System or simple Exhaust Repair we can handle that as well.

Great service and repair with a home-town feel. With their good service I may be able to keep my 1999 Toyota Camry going for another 22 years. What can we say have been coming since 1995 and would not dream of going any place else. Would be devastated without 5 Star and the GREAT GREAT GREAT treatment and service of ALL STAFF, OWNERS of 5 STAR!

Dropped off my Honda for the first time on Monday on the recommendation of a long time friend. This place is friendly and welcoming and took time to talk about the services they provide. They will gladly take your money for services rendered but not for unnecessary services.
A certain well-known Honda dealership and service center in Lexington recently quoted and recommended a $500 service to be completed. "It's got to be done, we're the professionals and no one can beat our competitive prices."

Needed rotors and pads on the rear of my CRV plus a full synthetic oil change and transmission fluid change. Staff was pleasant and our mechanic was spot on with the inspection and repairs. Our mechanic was awesome any repairs or routine maintenance for our 3 vehicles will all be done here. You can’t fake professional work 5 Star might not look like those instant places but if you want cute over professional work well it’s your car. Mine will be where a professional works!

I have been going to these guys now for several years, and I'm the kind of person that does my shopping around before deciding to do business with someone. From the first day I walked into this place I always felt welcome and that my concerns were being addressed, with even my safety and my budget in mind. The prices are also very reasonable and the quality of service is wonderful. I have never had cause to complain with any of the work they've done... and I've had everything from basic welding or tire repair up to replacement of my catalytic converter and even assisting me when I was in a rear
