Our objective is to provide the highest quality of dental care, in a relaxed friendly atmosphere, for a reasonable fee. Our office is like family. Our patients stay with us for many years. Our staff has been here for many years. Dr. Harris has been here for many years. You see the same friendly faces every time you come in.
We also have a relaxing panoramic view of the Virginia countryside from all of our treatment rooms. We make every effort to keep our fees reasonable. We also accept a variety of insurances, and do our best to maximize your reimbursements. We also offer flexible payment options, including low (or no) down-payment, and affordable monthly payments, often with no interest.

Services
Comfort and convenience are the hallmarks of our practice. Dr. Harris's office is open five days a week, with early morning and late evening appointment times available for your convenience. Our offices are located next to the Fauquier Hospital with convenient parking and easy wheelchair accesibility.
Sylvia has been a great asset to Dr. Harris's practice for over 14 years. She is usually the first person to greet you, whether it is over the phone or in person when you check in at the front desk for your appointment. She always ready with a smile on her face and a willingness to help, and there are not many questions she cannot answer.
When you think of family and general dentistry, you probably think of regular check-ups, cleanings, x-rays and having a cavity filled if one is found. And you'd be right. The family and general dentistry offered by Dr. Jeffrey Harris is much more comprehensive in scope than cleaning and filling teeth.
The danger is that you may have guml disease and not realize it. There often are no symptoms. Gums can recede, leaving teeth vulnerable to decay, abscesses and tooth loss - all without any bleeding or tenderness. During your regular cleanings and exams, our hygienist will measure the gum tissue around each tooth to determine if there is any deterioration.
Nitrous Oxide, more commonly known as "laughing gas" is a wonderfully relaxing treatment option. Safe and effective, nitrous oxide is delivered in the office through a small mask that you wear over your nose. The laughing gas completely relaxes you and lets you drift off during treatment. As soon as the gas is turned off, the effects fade away and you're back to your normal self within minutes.

I went to Dr. Harris through my childhood years to young adult (4ish- 22ish). I went every six month, missed maybe two or three appoints over the years - but I was very consistent patient. Before my 18th birthday he sent me to the oral surgeon to get my wisdom teeth out. He took an x-ray. The Oral surgeon noted they had not moved and sent me home, not ready. At 21 or 22, I felt them coming in, went back to the oral surgeon, he then removed them. During a post op follow up, he noted a large cavity, and pulled the X-ray from 18... there it was.
My next visit with Harris, hygienist finished, he finished

Dr Harris is an excellent dentist. My first experience with his office was a broken tooth and they made an immediate appointment for me and Dr Harris gave me excellent options which ended with me getting an immediate implant. I am so pleased with his service and professionalism. He and his office is just wonderful.

I have to agree with Nick B. The overall 'staff' is awesome. They are really great. But, Dr. Harris tries to schedule too many appointments and when he gets behind we, customers, pay the price.
I'm fairly certain some work was done needlessly due to mistakes, upselling unneeded service, or over billing -- but, in the end, I've survived... As another poster mentioned -- I got a similar discount offer to root canal a tooth that just needed shaping from rubbing.
I would never go back.

My husband and I both go to Dr. Harris. He has a top-notch staff who will listen and try to help patients, whether to schedule an appointment or to talk about the account. He has done preventive and cosmetic work for us both. Dr. H is meticulous when it comes to aesthetics and is conscientious when it comes to patient comfort. He explains what he will do before he does it, presents treatment options for cosmetic issues, and discusses finances BEFORE doing any work. All in all, we like him and his office personnel immensely.

Run, don't walk away from this quack! He runs from room to room trying to do 3 patients at a time. He was doing a cavity on me and all of a sudden he says WOOOPS and he breaks through to the root! Then he says, well I guess we will do a root canal then. Long story short, I end up with a low grade fever, go to a couple doctors and nobody could figure it out. I got very weak. Then I thought about it and I said I bet it is that tooth. A day or 2 later it began throbbing. Well, I had had enough so I went to another dentist and just had them pull the tooth. That same day I felt MUCH better
