Southern fried chicken breast, served on a brioche bun, topped with coleslaw, pepper jack cheese, fried onion straws and hot sauce. Mixed greens with onion, tomato, cucumbers, and bleu cheese crumbles, topped with crispy buffalo chicken, grilled chicken available upon request. A fresh bed of mixed greens with candied walnuts, locally grown strawberries & blueberries, bleu cheese crumbles and topped with sliced grilled chicken.
Saratoga Lake Golf Club is a par 72 public golf course in the heart of a lush forest, just 10 minutes from downtown Saratoga Springs. Visitors to our course love the 200 acres of hilly terrain with a stream running through the middle of the course. This is one of the most relaxing golf courses in upstate New York, and every round will take players past sparkling ponds and beautiful wetlands.

I chose The Hideaway to host my annual Christmas event this year. This is a small, intimate event but still very important and special to myself and my guests every year.
The staff, atmosphere and food at the Hideaway we're absolutely perfect! From the moment I made contact everyone was attentive, friendly, and professional. I enjoyed working with all of them.
None of my guests had previously dined here before so this was their first experience.
They were so impressed! Everyone loved the views (bonus for me that it snowed during our visit, which made for an excellent winter backdrop

We had a 5:30 reservation. They were very busy. After we sat down it was 20 minutes before anyone took a drink order. We ordered dinner at the same time because who knew when they’d come back. It was an hour before our food arrived. The food was delicious. The service was horrible! The manager should have at least apologized or offered a free drink.

This place! The food and beverage is on par (a little pun for this golf course restaurant!). Seriously though, they have delicious food at super reasonable prices. Their chicken and waffles is amazing. I love it so much, I have to force myself to try other menu items! The view from the entire restaurant is beautiful. Just as important-the owners are awesome people. They did so much for the community during covid even though they were struggling themselves. They made sure their staff was taken care of and offered free meals to any struggling community member no questions asked. This place

My family went out to dinner here for my mother's birthday. We had a reservation for 7:30 and were seated and were not helped for about 8 minutes. The table seated behind us who arrived after us were greeted and had ordered their drinks before us. My mothers cosmo was not a cosmo, tasted like lime rind muddled into a cloudy drink. However their house pinot Grigio was amazing, very delicious! My pulled pork, roasted red potatoes and vegetables were good but the chicken breast was extremely thin and was over seasoned with peppercorn in my opinion. The chicken was chewy and not very tasty. We have been to this restaurant for a private party and enjoyed the buffet. I think they do right by their private parties. We went again on a Friday for dinner and left. A very loud party was going on in the banquet room which the noise carried over to the dining room. We were not greeted at the restaurant. We waited for someone to acknowledge us. When we arrived staff stated they did not have our reservation. We had made one to ensure that our son and fiance would have a great Birthday dinner at a place they had chosen. The food was good though the sun was in 3 of our parties eyes throughout the dinner. We asked our waitress if she could put the shade down and she stated there was not a shade but that it was fine as "the sun moves by quickly by" and shrugged going on her way. This

You would assume having to make a reservation, service and dining would be impeccable.
We arrived at the hideaway just before dusk. Setting was beautiful- picture perfect. We were greeted with drinks right off the bat.
Everything went down hill after we were served our first drinks.
Steaks were shot, service after being seated-uncalled for.
Morgan, our server was very apologetic. We just wanted our check ASAP.
Very unorganized setting. Perfect opportunity.

We came here for brunch. All of our food was amazing, service was impeccable. Everything from drinks, to apps, to entrees was delicious. Highly recommend a "mom-osa" and the beer cheese was the best I've ever had. Even my scrambled eggs were delicious. My fiancé said his burger was cooked to perfection.

I ordered a meal for pickup. The location is absolutely amazing the views from the top of the mountain is awesome. The restaurant is very open and cozy. I ordered the Pot Roast with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables. The pot roast was tender and braised perfectly and topped with gravy. The roasted vegetables were great they were roasted just well. The vegetables were still crisp and had a perfect smoked taste. I would like to go back for dinner in the spring when I can sit outdoors. There was ample parking space and the parking lot was close to the restaurant.

Last night I had the pleasure of attending a Coursed Paired Beer Dinner with Founders Brewing Co at The Hideaway. Let me start by saying, next time they host one of these, get your tickets! One of the owners Chad was so welcoming and friendly, I would never hesitate to return. This is an awesome place.
It was an absolutely fantastic night filled with deliciously crafted plates, that were perfectly paired with the accompanying beers from Founders Brewing Co. The portions were also great and much more than I expected!

This is a cozy spot that I'm sure is quite beautiful when the weather is nice. It is located on an off the beaten path golf course We found our way here for lunch after attending a necessary family occasion near by. My husband had been last time he was on a golf outing. The weather was rainy and cold so we were happy to be seated right by the fireplace and warm up. They are following all of the COVID 19 protocols so I felt comfortable eating inside. The menu has a lot of classic dishes along with a few surprises. The husband zeroed in on the chicken and waffles. He wasn't disappointed

This place is an amazing addition to Saratoga Lake Golf Course. The food is fantastic and the beer is even better. Wide selection of beer and the food taste fresh. Their menu is very unique and I can say, from personal experience that everything on their menu is great. Best place on the South side of Saratoga Lake!

Went out to brunch on Sunday with some friends. Immediately greeted with all happy smiling (under their mask) employees. Greeted by one of the owners, who also made sure to check in on all tables periodically. All staff were so pleasant and great! Our waitress, Breanne (I am not sure the spelling) was so pleasant and friendly. Definitely making this my brunch go to! Thanks Hideaway!

We ordered and picked up the $20 dinner for two: one portion of chix parm and one of eggplant. We like it crispy, so ordered it with the sauce and cheeses on the side. We broiled the chix and eggplant (and garlic bread) , then layered on the sauce and cheeses. One minute in the microwave made everything hot and melted but still crispy. Just the way we like it! Great flavors and portions. Will do it again! Thanks, Hideaway!!

I'm very surprised I'm the first to review this restaurant. We ate here based on recommendations from friends. The atmosphere is great, the restaurant is new, fresh and relaxing. They did a great job in the construction/design. Service was very good, staff was friendly and fun.
Food - we had calamari and wings for appetizers. The calamari was very good, and I'm someone who normally doesn't like calamari. My wife thought maybe a touch too much breading. The wings were cooked just right, crispy but not over cooked. The spicy dry rub flavor was very good and similar
