With a degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Wisconsin, Mike worked in various roles with noted KC establishments such as Houston's, the PB&J group, and Brio. Known for his talent, passion, tenacity, and an incredible amount of self-sacrifice, Charles Garney sought to recruit Mike to help revitalize the venue after a leadership shakeup in 2011.

We visited Trezo Mare for the first time during Restaurant Week. We had a really great time although the noise level was high tonight. The food came out great and served hot. I loved that my petite filet was sliced so it was cooked properly all the way through. I've had trouble at other restaurants where the center doesn't get cooked properly because it is so thick. My husband loved the En Fuego and would definitely order it again! I liked the Goat Cheese Fondue and the Trezo Chocolate Bar. I did order The Trezo martini which is house infused berry vodka and lemonade. I thought it tasted more like

Went for a surprise birthday! The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our large party. The Bloody Mary was very good, could have been a little spicier. The food was excellent, the portions could have been better to justify the price of it. I will give this place another visit in the future.

Trezo Mare was absolutely amazing. We changed plans last minute for our dinner reservations celebrating our 10 year anniversary because we found this place and their menu and they did not disappoint. The space is beautiful, we felt great getting dressed up and the space matched our vibe. The food and the customer was absolutely amazing. I had the roasted chicken with mashed potatoes (listen everything was amazing but the mashed potatoes changed my life. Soooo good) with broccoli. My husband got the Lobster Mac and it was fantastic. Would definitely recommend.

I wish i could leave a better rating. The food is great. Our service, not so much. Took a while for our server to come by for our drink order, did not ask us for any refills, then was gone for 20 minutes after asking us if we'd like dessert. We ended up having to ask another server for our bill. For how much you'll spend i was expecting better.
