I called around for e46 clutch jobs and read mixed reviews then found this place and from the 1st call I got nothing but top notch service, clutch done, rear seal replaced, flywheel bolts off, a hole lot of stuff all in less then 24 hrs. Very communicative and cheaper then any other place by far. 5 star, 100 star, will send all my people to them. Excellent service, damm excellent.

FIVE stars! Sergio and Cesar are professional, fair and honest mechanics. I took my 2008 Range Rover in for a diagnostic. I informed them my car had been sitting for years. They let me know what services were needed immediately and what services I could return later to complete. I am truly grateful, they got my car up and running with a fair and reasonable price. I took my car to SG for an oil change. I was quoted a price over the phone but when I picked up my car I was charged an extra 30%. Not ok.
I was also told I have an oil leak and need to spend nearly $400 to repair. Because I hadn't lost any oil since my prior change I was suspicious and decided to get a second opinion. As it turns out there was no need for the supposed repair. That's my first and last trip to SG auto repair.

They fixed my heater in 2008 Ford Taurus in Jan 2019 but then recommended replacing AC Condenser to prevent tiny leak in transmission from getting worse. (never saw anything leaking EVER) In June I trusted them and let them do the work. Based on whatever they did to my car my transmission went bad six weeks later and was severely damaged. Now I have to have transmission repaired $3,000 plus on top of the $1200 I lost when I paid Sergio and Ceasar to replace AC Condenser and do whatever damage they did to my car. Very poor communication and workmanship. They ruin my car and I totally feel scammed

I had my 2008 Volvo C30 and my 2005 BMW services at this shop. I was impress with their service and integrity. This father son team is the best! One of the few honest mechanics around. They are very knowledgeable and friendly and will not attempt to sell you unnecessary services or parts. I'll be a loyal customer guaranteed!

Sergio is the honest mechanic we have all been looking for!!! Father and son run facility using quality parts great communication and timely.
He repaired my ac unit same day during a heat wave. Vacuum leak and overall safety check I fully trust Sergio or his son to work on my truck or car with out hesitation.

Finding a good mechanic is stressful enough, let alone when you need your car ASAP. Sergio was very accommodating and was able to fix my car right away. He immediately gave me a quote and was very understanding of my urgency and what priority repairs where needed. I would like to give kudos to Sergio and Cesar for a job well done and also for being reasonably priced. They are very professional and efficient. I will definitely come back for any further car repairs. I highly recommend them.

Sergio was amazing! I needed to have my front and back brakes worked on and after reading yelp reviews for shops close to where I live, I thought I would give SG Auto Repair a shot. I went to their web site, and asked for a quote. I received a reply by the end of the day that was very reasonable and actually less then many other garages I had received quotes from. I called for an appointment and Sergio was able to get me in the next day. I brought my car in at 8 am and was able to pick it up before noon! On a Saturday!!! Not only did I pay the price that was quoted to me, I was not pressured into

I can only second all the other posts for Sergio: Trustworthy is totally on point.
He is very honest, and was nice enough for not charging me when he could have (and a lot of other mechanics would have). My car died on the freeway and I had it tow to him late, as he was closing down, but he was very understanding and nice about me showing up with my towed car that late. Happened that my old minivan with 240,000 + miles on it needed way too much repair for what it was worth, and Sergio knew that very quickly as an experienced mechanic. I would definitively trust him with my next car if it needs

Where do I start? Sergio has my mechanic for almost 18 years!! I don't take my car anywhere else!!
He's very reasonable with price but my main reason I go to his shop is because he is very trustworthy!!!
And now he has his son Ceaser being his right hand as well!!! Very nice & family oriented!! That's a plus!

I've been taking my cars to Sergio for years. I can tell you many instances where he has provided top notch service above and beyond what is expected, but let me give you this one example. I had a check engine light come on, and noticed a burning smell coming out from under the hood. I immediately took the car to the Ford dealer, and was told that I needed a new engine for my Excursion. Well, unfortunately I was less than 200 miles out of warranty, and without an extra few thousand bucks laying around for a new engine. FORD would not budge!

Sergio is top notch for all your breakdown/planned car needs. I broke down in the middle of the night in San Pablo and first thing in the morning Sergio called me to check in about my vehicle, being that it's an easy position to be taken advantage of I was so surprised when Sergio quoted me so fairly for my vehicle repairs when I had thought that it was the end of the line for my car ! He was so great that I even went back to get my brakes done which he promptly finished ! I would send any of my friends or family there!
