Q: Your turn-around for full set of photos is 7 days? It takes so long! A: My regular turn-around is 7 days for most events. I edit and apply basic-retouching on all images to provide the best possible results for my clients. This process takes as much time as or even longer time than the photo shoot hours.

Ayano has been such a creative accommodating professional, my husband and I have used her photography services 4 times! We have been floored by Ayano’s ability to capture the spirit of the moment without being in the least bit intrusive. The resulting pictures have been unbelievable each and every time!

My husband and I hired Ayano for our wedding last September in NYC. Unlike photographers searching to snap "Insta-perfect" moments and staging every photo, Ayano had a preference for candid photography. The pictures she took beautifully capture the excitement and joy of our big day. Ayano shot my wedding, and I absolutely loved the way her photos came out - so when I needed a last-minute headshot, Ayano was my first call. Not only was she able to make herself available with less than 48 hours notice, but also could seamlessly work with the constraints of our shoot location. I highly recommend Ayano Hisa for any event or special project you have. Her photos are beautiful!!! Ayano is professional, creative and flexible - and a nice person (not always a given). Ayano will work with you and capture the moments you want (and many more). Importantly, Ayano knows how to photograph the many shades of our beautiful melting pot. Not everyone can do this. Ayano is an extremely talented photographer and we were very fortunate to cross paths! She not only took beautiful and memorable pictures of our wedding day and the brunch the day after but also made helpful and creative suggestions to us, that we are so glad we followed. She managed to take numerous pictures without hardly being noticed, and worked so cooperatively with our videographer and hair and makeup stylist.

Ayano photographed my husband and I for our wedding ceremony and reception in 2010. We can't say enough how wonderful, patient, professional and kind she was. We marveled afterward that she was so quiet we didn't even realize she took as many shots as she did. We have three CDs full of gorgeous pictures from our special day. Choose Ayano and you won't be disappointed.

We needed a photographer at the last minute for a holiday photo. We have used different photographers for each of the past 5 years. Ayano was the best by far. Usually we only have one or two decent photos to chose from, but Ayano did such a great job that we had lots of great photos of our family. Equally important, she turned the photos around in just one day - amazing. We recommend her without reservation.

When you're planning a wedding, photography is one of the things that you may be tempted to skimp on because you have a cousin who's a photographer or whatever but I remember a good friend explaining that it's actually an heirloom. The photography is what's left after the wedding is over so it is worth spending on. However, that doesn't mean you have to break the bank either. Ayano took some engagement photos for us, both portrait and candid shots. She was very accommodating about scheduling, quick to respond to emails, and got the photos to us immediately after the shoot. We had a fun time having our pictures taken, and best of all, we received several very beautiful photographs. I am shy about posing for photos, but Ayano really put me at ease and the photos look very natural. Couldn't recommend her more!

Ayano takes amazing shots and she is a very nice person. We wanted to work with someone who didn't necessarily focus solely on weddings and you can tell by looking at her online gallery that she is an artist first, and wedding photographer second. She's photographed lots of dance and other performances and is very adept at capturing movement and excitement in her photos.
We're not the most photogenic people and she did a great job with two people who don't like taking pictures. Our guests are clamoring for copies of her photos- they're that good.

Ayano is an extremely talented photographer with a great eye! If you want to make sure you have amazing photos of your special day, she is the one to hire. Ayano did both our engagement and wedding photos, and both came out amazing (every one of our photos looks like it could be in a magazine!). She is very experienced with weddings and really gets to know each couple's style and personalities in order to capture them at their best. Last year we hired Ayano to photograph our wedding and we LOVED her work, which was both natural and classy. From the very beginning, she was very professional and never tried to push us to purchase additional products or packages at all. We were very impressed with her during the wedding because she made sure to photograph us in the best lighting and captured all of our most important moments beautifully. Additionally, she was very prompt in sending us the photos after the wedding.
