Old school traditional family owned Mexican Restaurant. The artistry of the interior and customer service is proof that practice makes perfect. Order a family platter of several different items to share with a friend to try the deliciousness. My favorite is the best chile rellano in town. I have lived in Mexico, raised in L.A. and never had better. The spongy omlette is neither bulked up with flour nor fried in polluted oil too cool to ever just melt the quality cheese while quickly puffing up the eggy dredge. Ya just gotta go. Despite half full tables these days of Covid, the family kept it open

The food here was not just great but it tasted authentic. Portion size and pricing was also good and just the right amount per person. The ambiance of the restaurant was also nicely laid out from the decorations to the art pieces throughout the restaurant. Staff is super friendly. If you go the flan is a must as well as the Margarita. They are both sweet enough without feeling overpowering. Will definitely come again!

Ill start with what I did like.. their house Salsa. That's it.. The food was not good. The quality of ingredients was poor. The staff wasn't particularly friendly. The price was high for the type of food it is. We tried the cheese tacos, guacamole taco, chicken taco, rice and beans (old dried out refried beans). The cheese in particular is quite awful. Likely Imitation. They did not even include any napkins or plastic utensils with the food. Or even ask if we needed or wanted any.

Been going there since I was young and have always enjoyed it. The salsa and beans first off are so delicious (how I judge mexican food is legit), followed by enchiladas and tamales are always cooked perfectly, and service is prompt and on point. Also if you like the calenders with epic scenery can always be purchased there.

Showed up a little over an hour to close, seated right away since there was maybe only 2 or 3 tables. We were given the chips and drinks quickly, and the waitress took our order after about 5-10 minutes.
The wait for the food for the party of two took about 45 minutes to come out, however. And while the waitress had said the manager was going to take off 50% after around a half hour or ended up being more like 20-30%.
That said, the food was great, the waitress was very prompt on refills. I'd go back again, and this was not my the experience the first time I went here. Except the great food,

OMG!!! This is our favorite Mexican restaurant! Better even than any Mexican food place we've had anywhere! We just can't stop raving about it. A friend of ours took us here almost 20 years ago and we were so impressed back then. Well, thankfully the food hasn't changed a bit. Decorated in charming Mexican decor, the beautiful and traditional Mexican music plays in the background. The bathroom was even cute. We love this place and so will you!

Exceptional service ! After trying two different Mexican food restaurants which both where disappointing when it comes to service ,this Family owned restaurant is doing an amazing job when it comes to service and food .
Lovely atmosphere with historical vibes, and authentic delicious food.
