OMG I am thrilled with my Zoom teeth whitening experience!!! Beyond thrilled!! I have to be honest, I got a little freaked out on my first attempt, I didn’t fully understand the process and it really does take two hours. The technician that took care of me was SO gentle and kind. For gosh sakes, she gave me a bell to “ring” her if I needed her. It takes time to prep you teeth and the time for the gel to do it’s job. I highly recommend you give yourself this amazing gift. Incredible results, incredible service, my teeth look amazing. You deserve it! Treat yourself! White teeth look hot on

Terrible. İ was told i need to get 5 cavities filled. İ decided to do one and after three weeks i still can't chew on that side. Before i visited i had no issues. when I returned complaining of pain i was told that it's because my cavity was so deep and Dr. Jim also scared me by saying something like "i don't think you will need a root canal" - i wasn't even aware that was even on the table. Fast forward three weeks i went to a different dentist who looked at my x-rays and said i don't need any fillings and all is fine. So now i don't know which one is

Great experience! The staff is always so friendly and Dr. Jim Tasto did an amazing job of setting expectations and explaining what was going on with my cracked tooth. I was relieved that I only needed a filling and not a crown or root canal. The best part was that there was ZERO pain throughout the entire procedure.

Dr Jim Tasto and his staff are fantastic! Very friendly and they take extra steps to ensure cleanliness and safety. He replaced an old filling for me a while back and it’s perfect. It took a little while to get in for a dental cleaning and check up, but well worth the wait. I will definitely recommend their practice to my friends and family.

Torrey Hills Dental has been my go-to dentist for 7 years now and it's been such a pleasure working with them for all my dental needs. From regular cleanings while wearing braces to last minute appointments for a dental emergency, they have been there through it all!

Wow, this place really is all about turn and burn.
Tried out this dentist and came in and the problems began with the insurance person. I had my own dental coverage, but my ex-wife never took me off of her insurance and it was still showing up in the computer from running my social. They tried to convince me to use the dual coverage Ins even after I explained to them I am legally divorced.
Came in just for basic cleaning and X-rays. Was told I had a baby cavity. Ok, whatever, I'll come back. I don't know what they used on my teeth for cleaning even after I made it clear I only

I've been seeing Drs Jim and Brian for about 5 years now. Both are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They always put you at ease, explain what they are doing, and don't dumb anything down. While they will occasionally propose additional work, they never pressure you to accept it. They seem to have nice up-to-date equipment and methods, which is of course always a welcome sign. I also have the highest praise for the hygienists and receptionists who are all lovely people. The hygienists are knowledgeable and have great chair-side manner. The receptionists always greet me by name

This review is for Dr. James Tasto (Dr. Jim). I used to dread going to the dentist because inevitably I would have a cavity (I blame genetics). However, I have to say that the cavity filling experience is by far the least painful and stressful with Dr. Jim in comparison to the handful of dentists I have had over the last 30 years. He has this method of delivering novocaine into the gums using a massaging technique that is gentle and effective in distracting you from any pain. Another great thing about his office is they run a tight ship in terms of scheduling and there's hardly any wait

I don't usually write yelp reviews and to be honest, this is the ONLY negative review I have ever written for a business of any kind. However, I had such a bad experience here I feel that I must. I am now 3or 4 years out from the bad experience and I'm still having problems even after seeing another dentist. I had my first crown of my life installed here and it fell out a whopping 5 times during the course of 5 months, before it finally stayed in place. I cannot express enough how happy I am to have found Dr. Tasto and the whole team at Torrey Hills Dental. They go out of their way always make me feel comfortable. Dr. Tasto recommends only what is necessary, being mindful of my budget.
In the past, I have gone to several dentists to try to whiten deep stains in my teeth. I had even gotten zoom before with no effect. A few other dentists had even recommended veneers. Dr. Tasto gave me an honest evaluation of my situation, and together we decided to try one more time. He and his team got the stains out! No veneers!

Before coming to Torrey hills dental, It had been a Very long time probably since I was a child since seeing a dentist. I have been coming here for over a year now. I feel so taken care of here.
