I made a reservation for a party of 25. We drove 1hr 15mins for my Friends Birthday dinner at Jimmy V's. Let me tell you, it was the best ever! The manager was very professional and helpful with our arrangements. It was everything we desired and more. Trevor was our waiter and he had it going on. He was very patient with everyone. Loved Loved Loved the experience at Jimmy V's. A+ from the party !

It’s a really good place and the food is fantastic. I come here for a lot of work meetings because it is semi casual but still a good sit down nice meal (it’s like that perfect middle)! A portion of your bill automatically goes to the V Foundation for cancer research so you are doing a good dead while getting a good meal!!

As a long time customer of this Jimmy Vs I wanted to give a shout out to LIndsey Norwood and her great staff. Last night I held my 2nd Company Christmas Party at the establishment and again was treated to warm hospitality, great food, beautiful location, and great value. A shout out to the two person team assigned to our party who were great and very personable to all my staff.
The food, which the main course was a combination of Salmon, Chicken Alfredo, Aspargus, and Roast Beef was again outstanding. The appetizers were fantastic and the Canolis and Cheesecake finished off the package perfectly

THE FOOD WAS SO GOOD. We got a crab dip for the table that was AMAZING, and it had a lil kick to it that was so yummy. I got the Ribeye meal... superb. The mac and cheese was cheesy and garlicky and very tasty. Now the star.. the Moscow mule. 2 of those and I was feeling tipsy. A cocktail made perfectly. Our waitress Cameron was so nice and was on top of her stuff. She made the dinner even more special.

First time I ate the pizza here it was amazing. I came back to sample some more about 1 year later and the pizza came out looking like a punched lasagna and tasted like a childrens prego sauced toast pizza. Crab dip was fantastic however the lizza was bush league at best. 1 out of 10....would not bang

My mother and I attended their Thanksgiving Buffet Special for tonight and it was unbelievably good. The wait staff were very attentive, kind, and seemed genuinely glad to have us there. Much appreciated. It's not easy working on the holidays. ❤️ Also, the food itself was down right delicious. Thank you Jimmy Vs for being our Home away from Home this year for Thanksgiving.

I went in for the breakfast buffet and was sat, Shelly took care of me and she was outstanding! The women I didn't catch her name that was working behind the breakfast bar was telling me what's around and what to see! Definitely the staff at that restaurant really make you feel welcome! Food was good too!

I didn't have a pleasant experience here although I did enjoy my meal. Service was lacking from the minute I entered. I was told to wait at the check in desk and after about 5-6 employees moved around they realized that nobody had done their job to check me in.
I realize that they were short staffed with just three waitstaff and likely not enough kitchen staff either. But there is no excuse for all the tables and those at the bar that came in after me to be served and leave the restaurant before I got my food that had been ordered an hour before.

Great bar! I know it's in a hotel, which is a red flag for me, but I've been here many times and have always had great service and a good meal. It's a bit of an inspirational experience with all of Jimmy V's pictures and quotes around you. Of course there is always a game on which is nice. 7 local'ish beers on tap and they do rotate. Lots of thin crust pizza options with the funky pizza being my favorite. Obviously there are plenty of Italian food options along and some good salads too. Never had a bad experience here.

After years of wanting to try Jimmy V's, I finally tried them out with a to go order. The restaurant it self looks cool on the inside. I love all the quotes at the entrance. The staff was friendly and accommodating. It did take a while before our food was ready. We ordered the 12oz ribeye with asparagus and macaroni and cheese. The ribeye was by far one of the best I've had in a long time. The asparagus was seasoned well but a little too crunchy for my preference. I was not a fan of the macaroni and cheese but they do give you a nice portion size. We also ordered the Pollo club sandwich

Our first time here and it was pretty good...would give a 3.5 stars if Yelp allowed. We ordered wings, ribeye, and veal as our entrees. All were great and the veal was probably one of the best executed (rolled and plated gorgeously and delciosuly on the risotto). Service was good and attentive, though was surprised that they did not offer any compensation whatsoever when my sister's wings-entree was first made incorrectly, and then was not served until 15 minutes later than our entrees. Thankfully we dined early enough before our show and was able to accommodate the extra time.

Great restaurant to visit on Fayetteville St smack dab in the middle of down town Raleigh. The food is good and the restaurant is nice and clean. Service was only okay and being surrounded by other great food choices it certainly plays a big part in repeat business. Overall this was a good experience and I’d tell anyone to try it but there is room for improvement.

Probably won't be on my top picks to return to. While it wasn't a disaster it wasn't up to my expectation. The Roast beef AUJu had only a very thin layer of meat. I noticed the same thin slice of lunch meat being served on other sandwiches too. Seems like very high prices for 1 slice of lunch meat on your sandwich. The bread is top notch and the mac and cheese was a definite winner.
If you come to this restaurant it seems a hamburger is best bet for your money; at least if I ever return that will be my choice

What a disappointment. I've heard great things about this place. Jimmy V is a Raleigh institution and this restaurant does not reflect his hard work and ethics. We came in on a Saturday night- a large party for a birthday. We were post dinner rush, and we were told there was a large 40-top about to order. So we did. The rest of this debacle is barely worth repeating but here's the gist:

I had a Farmer's salad which was complete with peaches, walnuts, tomatoes, an italian cheese, and a house vinaigrette, and the combination of it all was FANTASTIC!!! I caution you, this baby boy is beastly filling, I almost made the mistake of adding a sandwich which would've never happened.
This salad is certainly a MUST try!

We stayed at the Sheraton for the evening and came here for lunch and cocktails the next day. The place had a great atmosphere. Loved being able to see the open kitchen and wood fire pizzas cooking!
We sat at the bar. Our bartenders and everyone else working there, were exceptionally friendly. The service was on time.
I had the steak salad, which was good. My friend had a pizza, which was also good. Honestly, we expected the food to be much better. Portions are really large so it's a trade off, I guess. Perhaps if I'd partaken of more of the great beer selection I'd have enjoyed the food more

Overall, pretty great! I had the valvano meatballs to start with and they are very good as well as being big and covered in tasty mozzarella with marinara on the side. While I ate the meatballs I tried a Canadian mule which wasn't bad at all for a mule and far less smelly than an actual mule. I had only a fairly underwhelming salad for lunch so I also ordered the Parmesan wings. They were absolutely tasty, cooked perfectly, and were amazing dipped in blue cheese dressing. All I needed was top notch service which I received.

If I was Italian I would kiss my fingertips and mutter the word "Magnificent" in that accent to describe my visit and experience here.
We had about 14 people in the party and I think everything on the menu was ordered. As for the appetizers, we had everything but the soup. I tried them all and you can't go wrong with any of them but I was quite surprised with the Bruschetta with balsamic caviar (my first time having caviar). I absolutely
