Sitti
The most important, beloved figure in any Lebanese family is the grandmother, or sitti. This is especially true for the families, like ours, who started making the journey to America, from tiny Lebanese villages nearly a century ago. Our grandmothers were the caretakers and teachers of our home country's culture, faith and food. Discover the delicious offerings we have every day of the week, now available for curbside pickup and delivery.
Services
Downtown Raleigh restaurateur and developer Greg Hatem first envisioned a restaurant honoring his Lebanese heritage more than fifteen years ago. Three years later, he teamed up with the Saleh family, owners of the area's Neomonde restaurants, as a small partner to open Sitti, a tribute to the grandmothers, or sittis, who were the caretakers and teachers of the Lebanese culture, faith and food.
The only red grape authorized in the Alsace AOC, known for producing lighter-bodied, rustic wines that show flavors and aromas of cherries, cranberries, strawberries and raspberries with supple, soft tannins. Tossed with za'atar spice blend, cilantro, diced tomato, and goat cheese, served with spicy tahini sauce.
The warm hospitality that is so natural to us at Sitti, along with our beautiful private dining areas and our large selection of mezze, make us the perfect spot for special events! With our large communal table in the heart of the dining room, the downstairs private room, and a spacious open-air courtyard, Sitti can accommodate a wide range of parties.

After walking by Sitti a few months ago and checking out their menu I knew I had to return and I am so glad I did! Sitti has a warm and relaxing atmosphere as soon as you step in the door. It is larger than it looks from the outside with a long bar to the right, a community table in the middle, and several small tables on the far left. I picked a single table to the left with a bench and sat down. It took a little while for someone to acknowledge me, but finally a waiter came over and brought me a water. I got up and asked another waiter for the wifi password. He was kind and happily gave it to

Went for dinner at Sitti and had a wonderful experience. The waiters were really friendly and even told us a little bit about Sitti. The pita bread was so soft and tasty. Must try the Baklava if you visit

Delicious food and great service. The bartender makes a mean martini and old fashioned. He asks for your preference and cares bout how you like the drink. He also gives elaborate background and recs on the food.

We got the dip trio and picked the Baba Ghanouj, muhammara and Labneh. The first two were my fav and labneh yogurt dip was my bfs fav - really can't go wrong. We also shared the beef and lamb shawarma - WOW. It was one of the best shawarmas I've had in a long while. The meat was so juicy and perfectly marinated. Stuffed the meat in a pita with the yummy tomatoes and onion. Perfect

Sitti was a very good experience. The place is a homage to Lebanese Grandmothers who instilled the love of food and food preparation in their family lineage. Sitti actually stands for Grandmother. The Lebanese flavors were very comforting. I love Mediterranean food and I was excited to try this place because the online reviews were alluring.

Upon entering we were greeted by a friendly host. He sat us rather quickly at a high top and guided us to the QR code for the online menu. Easy peasy! We ended up starting off with the dip trio of the hummus, feta cheese dip, and Mouhmara. My favorite

Very tasty food and excellent service. the waitress recommended a sampler platter which ended up exceeding my expectations flavor-wise. i will definitely come back here on my next business trip downtown. highly recommended for the food. only negative was downtown seemed a bit rough, lots of homelessness in that area by the restaurant unfortunately.

One of my favorite spots for middle eastern food. I always make sure to get their warak anab (grape leaves) and chicken shawarma or the mixed kabob plate. Their outdoor courtyard is also really nice to eat it.

Gone a couple times now. First time they were not busy and the food was amazing! Went again the other night for restaurant week and had extremely slow service and the falafels were burnt which was most of my meal.

I was very excited to try this place but the actual experience didn't live up to expectations. The atmosphere is not as nice as you might expect (plastic uncovered tables) and a good number of the items on the menu were unavailable. The food was ok, nothing to write home about. I had the falafel and Brussels. Upsides were that service was quick and the prices were reasonable.

We got married on 10/16/2021 and had our wedding lunch at Sitti. We live in Florida and made arrangements mostly by email and Devan was very prompt in replying. I did get to visit Sitti few months earlier and tasted some of their dishes. The food was fabulous. I reserved the private dining for 26 guests and the room fit all of us perfectly. I ordered the white linen table clothes which made the space look elegant. We never felt rushed and the two servers who took care of us were very nice and on top of everything. The food again was fabulous and no one left hungry. I didn't hear anything negative

Mixed/Meh picture here. The vibe.of the place was top notch! Pictured is their lentil soup and it tasted as good as it looks. same story with their falafel! However their bread was absolutely delicious and that I had a ton of. I think there are better restaurants nearby for much cheaper.

I just hosted a baby shower at Sitti this past weekend in the downstairs private dining room and everyone including myself was so impressed! The venue space is beautiful, comfortably fit our party of 36, the food was DELICIOUS and the staff were so friendly and personable and really wanted to help make the event be the best possible. I'd recommend this space/restaurant to anyone that needs space for an event coming up. The mom to be loved it and I just truly appreciate everyone's effort that went into making the day special!! Thank you!

Very tasty very fancy. Lots of options for vegetarians. The food smelled so good and I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture before diving in! Be careful not to fill up on bread before your entrees. Overall a very pleasant experience, but I think the food was a little under seasoned and definitely needed garlic. Lots of garlic.

We've eaten many times at Neomonde, the fast-casual local chain from the same parent company. Finally got to try Sitti for a business lunch. Our office manager reserved a table for our party of eight and it was promptly ready when we arrived. During COVID you can scan a QR code to read the menu, and then order. We ordered hummus and baba ghanoush apps, and everyone ordered their own salad or entree. I was pleasantly surprised that the menu was a lot larger than I expected. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food (one coworker raved about the baba ghanoush), and I enjoyed the taste and portions

My boyfriend was worried.. "Oh no! Not Lebanese food! You're going to complain that it is not authentic again, and criticize it!" None of that here. The kibbeh was very authentic.. smeared with lebneh. Very good. Great specials on drinks! We're coming back at the end of our trip on our way to airport. Don't miss! Healthy, great tasting!

The rice in the dolmas had been refrigerated too long that they were hard. Canned dolmas at Trader Joe's are better (no kidding and testament to how bad their's were)). Chicken Shawarma was pale and doesn't look like it had been grilled (looked and tasted like boiled chicken). Hummus was the only thing that was good. Service was good but the food has suffered since the last time we've been here (it was OK the first time and I thought I'd give it another chance). Looked like the cooks are Americans which probably explain why their food was unauthentic. Sorry but this is

I hadn't been to Sitti since the pandemic started but decided to go there over the weekend. It was always really busy when I had been there before but this time just two tables had guests.

The waiter also gave me an issue about wanting a regular menu rather than scanning a QR code. I was told there were not any regular menus but 30 seconds later he grabbed one from the hostess stand. The rest of the table used this menu as well.

I went with the beef kabob and that came with rice and yogurt. I enjoyed this part of the meal and my rating would have been higher if I had not ordered dessert

My wife and I got some takeout tonight. We picked up about four minutes before the agreed time then walked about that to our hotel. Let's step through this item by item:

Kibbee Mikli : $8.49
Tasty. We added on a Spicy Tahini (not very spicy) and between that and what it came with, we enjoyed it. Arguably worth the price.

Goat Cheese & Orange Salad: $7.49
Tiny! I like that they keep the dressing separate but nothing special and not worth the money. What a regret.

Curried Lamb Stew: $19.99
What an insult! If I got this on a plane, I'd be pleased. It wasn't bad. But no comparison

We went to Sitti to celebrate Valentine’s Day and we were seated immediately with our reservation. The tables were spaced far apart and everything looked very clean. The noise level was moderate. Our server was very attentive. The hummus dip trio was the best thing we had. The lamb chops were good but a little fatty, but the sauce they served with it was very savory and the polenta complemented it well. My only complaint was that the doors kept opening and made it cold.

Whenever we come to Sitti, it's always an incredible experience to the palate
The kibbi hot appetizer is full of flavor and the roasted pine nuts add a nice touch. The beef and lamb shawarma was so tender and flavorful and the rice was so fluffy and light. The lebneh has a nice tang to it and the tahini sauce had a nice consistency to dip meat into. If you like garlic, the garlic paste is creamy and just enough garlic flavor. Very authentic food and attentive service. Very clean restaurant and it felt very safe during covid.

Stopped into Sitti while checking out the Illuminate Art Walk downtown. The place was adequately social distanced, and the door was cracked open for circulation, which I liked. The menu was touch free, and so was the check out process for paying after dinner. Both huge pluses for me.
I had the Salmon dish with the rice and substituted Brussels, and my daughter had the Pizzette. Both were very tasty. My salmon was cooked to perfection, and I loved the combo of the cilantro, mint, and onion relish on top. The rice was tasty, and the Brussels were a good compliment. The Pizzette had Brussels as well
