My family and I loved this place! We were very impressed with our meal, everything was soo good! I had the bistro burger with Avocado and it was amazing. I'm a Vegetarian and this was the best burger I've had in a long time! It's not close to where I live but it's worth it to make the drive!

Hello all! I am back again and this time I took pics before digging in. It's not that I wasn't hungry, just conscious. So let talk about this new Vegan spot tucked away in Heights.

Cons:
One group was a little loud, please use your inside voices.

I honestly didn't have any cons, read why below.

Pros:
The facility was clean inside and out, there are benches in a small open area for outdoor eating on a beautiful day like it is today if you choose.

I was greeted immediately entering the facility and explained how the restaurant operated during lunch hours. Basically, it

Took my boyfriend here for a vegan date night and we were very impressed! The pizza was delicious but the vegan take on orange chicken but instead with cauliflower, an orange glaze, sesame seeds and diced green onion YUM! The pizza and the wine the waitress recommended us paired very well together. I'm glad Houston has vegan options and I'm glad this was a great introductory experience for my boyfriend to more vegan cuisine. We will be back! 10 out of 10 to Verdine

Awesome little spot. Very relaxing atmosphere and great service. We got the pizza and bistro burger. Both were delicious and the flavors blended perfectly. Portions we huge and I have leftovers for lunch today. They also have a great local drink menu.

Delicious food! I had the burger with cheddar and my friend had the chicken sandwich. The French fries had an awesome tasty seasoning and were crunchy and hot. The burger was cooked perfectly and the special sauce and pickles were yummy. I’m not a Vegan (my friend is) but I’d go back in a heartbeat. The service was excellent as well, and the restaurant is super cute and comfortable.

We took my mom here for her birthday and this all vegan/veg menu was outstanding. Everything was full of flavor. It is always great to find another spot where you don't have to worry about what is on the menu, you know the ingredients are high quality and that they are dairy free. Love this place and will definitely return next time we're in the area.

A great, cute little restaurant that serves vegan food. Absolutely loved the bistro burger. Not sure if it's on their menu anymore, but they had "queso" dip and it was so good! Their string fries were perfect with the burger. If you're looking for a vegan place, this is it!

I ordered the cauliflower and Thai meatballs.
The cauliflower was fantastic! It reminded me of eating sweet and sour chicken. The batter was the perfect texture.
It’s a little pricey compared to some vegan places around town.
Nice customer service and the Thai meatballs were tasty as well.

Best Vegan place I've been to in Houston!! Quality is great (more expensive of course as a result). Charming interior and never needed a reservation.

MAC and CHEESE here is the best vegan Mac I've ever had. All entrees are good honestly and portions are pretty sizable. Only downside to this place is the high price (but worth it for quality) - and that they change their menu pretty seasonally.

I had a great time here! I walked in (was the only customer at the time) and got immediately taken care of. I’m not vegan, so I let the server recommend something for me, and she did not disappoint. My servers name was Dhara and she recommended the burger, which was just spectacular as her service. She kept coming back almost every time I needed something before I even asked. A++ service for sure 🙂

Absolutely love the Sunday brunch!
They should bring back the Kolache‘s and donuts.
Hands down best vegan food in Houston, can’t tell it’s vegan. Everything is amazing on the brunch menu.
Dinner needs to up their game to match

Think of a true foods but in Houston settings. And where all the menus were vegan-ified....

So, for someone who certainly enjoyed their fair share of delicate meats and cheeses, I was not entirely disappointed. The Mac n' Cheese, though vegan, was so creamy and delightful! Honestly, I did not even miss the actual cheese bites. My dad ordered the "chicken" barbecue pizza and it was actually surprisingly delicious - maybe a tad rich, bc the dressing/cheesy substitute was a bit much for my stomach to tolerate. We also really loved their brownie!!! And the wine-tails. The watermelon

I recently went to Verdine to try out the newly released Beyond Meat Chicken. They were the only place in the area that had this product, so I was excited to try it out.

The restaurant is in a really cute strip that contains several other restaurants and stores. The space itself is clean, bright, and open. It's order at the counter. The menu is really interesting, and there were a ton of things that I wanted to try.

I tried the following items:

Chicken Caesar Wrap (3.5/5): This was a pretty decent wrap. The Beyond Chicken was a little underwhelming, and the wrap itself was on the soggier

I try to avoid vegan places because I find their food lacking in flavor. So I was pleasantly surprised to find that all the food I tasted during dinner tasted great. The real Stanford were the Thai meatballs and the chicken parmesan. But all the food was decent including the tempeh ribs and chicken and waffles{special of the day). Overall, if highly recommend Verdine and suggest the meals which use impossible meat.

Let me just say it is such an amazing rare feeling to be able to walk into a restaurant and literally be able to have EVERYTHING on the menu! 🤩 That saying, the dishes that captivated my taste buds were the Crispy 'Chikn' Wrap 🌯 and the Blossom Tacos 🌮 very good choices. I also tried the White Mac and Royal Tagine Bowl which were okay but I felt like they could use more seasoning. I was excited to try the beyond chikn and I definitely enjoyed it, Beyond does it again! I want to try the Orange Cauliflower and Everything Kale salad 🥗 next! Nice decor beautiful and simple.

This is a very cute little place with an interesting menu. My friend and I are not vegan, but decided to come here for Sunday Brunch. We both had the Pineapple French Toast as an entree. I had the pitaya lemonade- the cashier was right, it was perfectly in between sweet and tart, while my friend had one if their mimosas that she also enjoyed.

The french toast was good and presentation was pretty. I did not care for the "beyond sausage", though. Something is weird about meat that isn't meat and that's probably because I'm not actually vegan. Anyway, this would've gotten

Second try at a vegan spot and from my last experience, I wasn't so excited but I was still keeping an open mind.

I ordered the hot chicken sandwich and heard it was one of their most asked for. My friend ordered the sausage and goat cheese pizza. I thought to myself, out of everything to order why order a sausage and goat cheese pizza?! Jokes on me! It was PRETTY DANG GOOD! In fact, the best vegan plate I've had so far.
OR, my hot chicken sandwich was not good and enjoyed anything else that came my way..
No, I pick my first thought. The pizza was actually pretty stinking good! I

My boyfriend and I decided to give this place a try as most vegan restaurants are pretty casual and laid back though we were in the mood to go somewhere a bit more upscale... While we love trying new things and do not regret giving this place a chance, we have both decided that we will not return.

We were taken to a table immediately after being greeted by the hostess although it took our server almost 10 minutes to arrive at our table - only after I asked the bartender if we had a server. He briefly apologized and took our order then walked away. Not a great start to the meal but I decided not

So I didn't realize this was a vegan restaurant until we went; honestly was just looking for something healthy looking. Its located in the plaza next to Jinya and Hopdoddy so parking was pretty readily available. Upon entering, we were not greeted and it looked like self seating so that's what we did. Apparently we had to go up and order as well, which was odd..

We got the cauliflower and "crab" cakes for apps. The cauliflower was pretty much sweet and sour chicken but with cauliflower. So it's deep fried and drenched in sugar. The crab cakes had some kind of mushrooms

We actually came here and didn't know it was vegan. And from the initial look on the menu, it isn't obvious... which is a good thing! There is a variety of options and everything we had was delicious! We got the sausage goat pizza and it was crispy and flavorful. The "sausage" was delicious. It was a little dry and burnt for our taste but still good! We also had the blossom tacos and it was very good! We never had banana blossom before and it tasted just low fish. I would highly recommend.

We went for brunch and had the croissant-wich combo and the migas. The food and presentation were exceptional! The food was flavorful and could not tell it was vegan. This was my first time eating here so I admit I was a bit worried bc I am not vegan but was willing to try it bc my friend is vegan. If I did not know it was vegan food I would not have known the difference.
The downside is the prices. It is a bit expensive. My vegan friend only goes on special occasions bc of the prices and that will be the case for me as well. Otherwise, I would definitely go more often and recommend it to others

A soft 3/5 star at best. Food is a 2/5 but service was a 4/5 this overall a 3/5.
I have had vegan food at other places and it has been far better tasting then Verdine. Ended up returning couple of items and not finishing the rest because it was that bad. When we did send food back, they did replace the item at no cost so that was a good thing.
The chilaquilas were just awful and they have some sort of banana or jackfruit as the “meat” and it wasn’t that good. The Migas are slightly better and edible.

I have been a fan of Verdine's dating back to when it was a food truck.

I was so glad when they opened up in 2019 the food here is nothing short of spectacular. From the moment you walk in you get cute cafe vibes.

Come early for brunch I like to arrive right when they open between 11AM and 11:30AM so that way I can just sit and vibe.

Brunch and lunch are my go to hours, I have not been for dinner.

Some of my favorite items are the cauliflower, honey butter "chicken" biscuit and kale salad to name a few.

I always love sitting out on the dog friendly patio when the weather is

This is a very cute spot located in the Heights next to common bond and hopdoddy. There's a small communal outdoor space that is very nice as well. We came on a weekday afternoon so their dine in wasn't open but we were able to eat lunch at the outdoor area in the shade.

While I'm not a vegan I came with someone who is. I've been to quite a few spots with her and this is one of the better ones. We got the rainbow mixed salad and the formaggi pizza. While the salad was just average the pizza was amazing! I actually enjoyed it more than some pizzas I've had with real meat

Vegan cuisine, come on over here! The food tasted great in an ambiance that has been thought through.

As many recommended, the jackfruit carnitas tacos are definitely a highlight! If you haven't tried meat made of jackfruit, this is a great starting point! Their house ketchup is a thing to try, though gotta pay for extra ketchup if you're a lover and they do not have a substitute (money $$ catcher?).
The burger + sweet potato fries + lavender lemonade didn't strike me so much.

Covid precautions were observed. Tables inside were occupied at a distance from each other. The service

We came to Verdine on a Saturday morning for a early lunch (11am). We had reservations that we made online, yet did not need them. We were the only people in the restaurant (party of 3).

I had the Forbidden Pad Thai and it was DELICIOUS! All the flavors were so great and tasty, the dish was a good size and I couldn't finish the entire plate.

My boyfriend got the Hot Chicken Sandwich and an order of fries (share with the table). The sandwich was so good and had a great texture, not like other jackfruit sandwiches I've had.

My mom got the burger, she said it was good but didn't
