Meet me on the street and you'd think me an overall happy and positive person. My family, most of the time, might agree (thought it may depend on how well the children are listening and how often the dog has been under foot.)
While my Instagram feed wouldn't have me known as a light and airy wedding photographer, or a natural light wedding photographer, much of what we photograph falls into those categories. While I'm drawn to darker images and tend to create a few during a wedding, the majority of the images we create are light, bright and happy.
We specialize in narrative photography and narrative photography ideas. The first look. Seeing one half walk down the aisle to make a whole. The first Dance. Emotive, heartfelt moments to be sure-and a blessing to be able to freeze time for all of them. While wedding, commercial and portrait photography provide a living for us, it's the Humanitarian Photography and storytelling that fills my soul to overflowing.
As a destination wedding photographer and professional wedding photographer, we know the value in a story well told. Photographing a Bend wedding or weddings in Central Oregon and beyond isn't a hobby, we've been making a living at it for sixteen years-what a blessing. There's a great sense of honor each time someone chooses our studio to tell their story and we work hard to let them know they feel valued.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Benjamin (and his son) on a wedding and we cannot sing their praises enough. Not only are they extremely easy to work with and professional, they are incredibly creative while also being non-invasive. You hardly notice their presence while enjoying your day but somehow, they manage to capture the most amazing shots. When working with Benjamin, you'll be treated to prompt communication, attention to detail, and complete ease with the whole process. We'd highly recommend Benjamin to any couple looking for epic photography.

My husband and I had recently accepted our first foster kiddo into our home. A couple weeks later, I found out we were expecting our own kiddo. I reached out to Benjamin almost immediately about squeezing in a quick baby announcement photo shoot with a tight deadline because we wanted to announce it at Christmas. He not only accepted our request, he and his son did such a wonderful job capturing our joy as a family, with our foster daughter.

Benjamin was such a joy to work with! We had a #destinationwedding so we planned over a year ahead of time. He always got back to me in a timely manner (which can be stressful for an out of state bride!) and even provided a detailed survey to get to know us as a couple, along with our wedding style. During our wedding, he provided humor, made us so comfortable in all the photos, stayed super organized with a list of photos we wanted, and of course they all turned out beautifully! Ben and Lauren were amazing photographers for our destination wedding in Sayulita, Mexico. They have a super relaxed and laid back style and consistently met all of our needs with impeccable timing and efficiency. Despite their luggage being lost by the airline in route to Mexico, they maintained a relaxed attitude and embraced the adventure, while ensuring us that the photos would not be jeopardized. Ben and Lauren did such a good job that half the time we didn't even realize they were there shooting. The images far exceeded our expectations and I was so impressed with the timely delivery

Benjamin photograped our wedding this summer in Sunriver, OR. He was a great communicator throughout the entire process, and even went out of his way to find us a videographer. He made the entire wedding day memorable, and captured the best day of my life.
You can see he has such a passion for what he does. On a personal level, he uses his talent as a platform to not only shoot weddings, but to aid charity organizations in capturing life in war torn parts of the world.

Ben shot our wedding in November 2015 as well as our engagement photos earlier in the same year. We had a destination wedding so we often Skyped with Ben as well as emailed often. Honestly it was the greatest experience. Ben not only captures every moment beautifully, but you can truly see his passion as he works. To say he is an artist would be an understatement. Benjamin photographed our wedding and engagement session, as well as my sister-in-law's. I can't possibly express how positively I feel about him, personally and professionally. He is an amazingly talented photographer, creatively and beautifully capturing not just images, but emotions and relationships. Every wedding is unique and has its own feel, but many wedding photos look generic and interchangeable. Not Benjamin's. Every wedding he captures is different and distinct from the others.
