Joe was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida. After receiving his bachelor's degree from the University of Florida, he relocated to Tampa Bay where he earned his law degree from Stetson University College of Law. While in law school, Joe served as President of the Hispanic Student Bar Association and Vice President of the Student Bar Association.

Lauren Zahorniak attended Florida Gulf Coast University and received her degree in Paralegal Studies in 2010. In 2009 she began work in a family law firm before transiting to personal injury in 2011 in the Tampa Bay area.

My experience with Pipas Law Group was first rate! Not only did they have attorney's and legal staff ready to answer all of my questions, they were very patient with my questions and were able to explain legal concepts to me in ways that I could understand. All the staff was Veteran friendly and they even had a fluent Spanish speaking attorney to help out (I was trying to translate for a friend, but I didn't have the legal vocabulary). John McKnight was the attorney at Pipas Law that handled most of my case. I was in a car accident and suffered neck and back injuries. John was able to easily and clearly explain everything to me. I appreciated that John was a straight shooter that gave me the facts and his honest opinion. Unfortunately my husband and I were involved in an automobile accident. By the Grace of God the accident was minor. When I informed my brother of the accident he immediately referred us to Pipas law Group. We all know that Attorney's work cases to get paid however we were never made to feel as if this was their intent. David was Awesome from first contact to the last contact. He kept us informed, checked on our health and expedited appointments as needed. Hopefully we're never in another accident but this is Florida so all we can do is be safe on the road.
