Sage Living By Design

Had lots of issues with a place I was living with parking. 6 months after being there and parking in my assigned spot, they gave my spot to another tenant and assigned me a parking spot with a broken down car in it. The tow company they partner with is trash. Property management continued to email me snarky responses even after I asked them not to contact me anymore. The guy that works there has the worst attitude ever and you can literally hear him roll his eyes any time he is asked a question or a request is put in. He talks over you, doesn't let you speak and has an air of superiority. Ended

Great property management company! Responsive with requests, fair with deposits, and helpful every step of the way. I own now so I'm no longer with them, but if you are looking for a rental in Eugene, I would highly recommend them.

Best landlord I’ve ever had. When they raise your rent, it’s like $25. They do month-to-month after your first year, fix things when they break, don’t charge pet rent, and overall just not slumlords like the rest of the landlords in Eugene. I’ve had Bell, DucksVillage, Umbrella, and Emerald; none even begin to compare. Sage will treat you like you’re a decent person.

I was initially wary about renting from an agency. Sage living by design was fantastic though. They were flexible when I had problems during my move out, prompt when things needed fixing and very fair about security deposits. One small thing I noticed that meant a lot to me is the few times I interacted with people employed by sage they seemed happy and kind. Also, the apartments at fifth and Jefferson had one of the most usable kitchens I have ever rented. If I hadn't needed to move due to a bad roomate I would still be there.

I've rented from various property management companies over the past decade, and Sage Living By Design is, far and away, the best renting experience I've had.
Their properties are well-maintained, their office is responsive to questions and requests, and they genuinely seem interested in making sure their tenants are happy. This leads to longer-term tenants, meaning you have more consistent neighbors, which is also nice.
In my opinion, property management company is just as important as location, amenities, etc. when renting, so I would highly recommend keeping an eye on Sage above all other

I absolutely love Sage LBD, and I was sorry to leave the property behind. Maintenance was always prompt and helpful, Sage made great improvements to the property I lived in (security gate, card-reading laundry machines), and they were always responsive to tenant concerns and needs. Best rental company available in Eugene, Oregon. When we decided to move out we followed their check list of cleaning, and received our whole deposit back. This is unheard of in Lane county, most rental companies will find any reason to keep your deposit. Our rental was also a month to month, making it very easy to move out when we decided it was time to go. Sage Living By Design is an honest rental company who care about their tenants.
