Surf n Turf Tacos Waikiki was Founded in 2013 on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii. This delicious Mexican/Hawaiian infusion eatery was created by a couple of local boys who had a passion for delicious, fresh and "onolicious" food. We take local Hawaiian ingredients and use them to create some of your favorite Mexican dishes: burritos, nachos, rice bowls, quesadillas, and more!
Comes with your choice of any 2 tacos served on corn, flour or our signature taro tortillas + a side of beans & rice! Crunchy corn tortilla chips topped with a melted cheddar jack cheese blend and any toppings of your choice. A perfect snack after a fun day of surfing Waikiki! The torta is a giant of a sandwich!

Decent food for a decent price. Carnitas is a bit salty, refried beans have heavy spice flavoring but I can't put my finger on what it is. Rice is a little underwhelming. I got the Dos Tacos with everything on it. Again, decent food for a decent price. I wouldn't come back but I would recommend this place. They're at about a B- average

Got a steak and chicken burrito w/ cilantro rice, the works and House sauce.
Really good flavors, their house sauce is delightful however the steak was a bit too tough, very chewy, but flavor was really good. I would've really liked it a bit tender and thinner ( my preference) Overall, great customer service, massive portions, fair price and fast service.
Highly Recommend and will definitely be going back!

Delicious!! Made the burrito vegan in a pinch. Super easy to customize and add or take out whatever you want. Lots of protein, rice, bean, sauce, and veggie choices. Couldn't be easier to get exactly what I want. It won't get boring since you can keep switching everything so it's a new burrito every time. Coworkers highly approved of the nachos and carnitas bowl. Can't wait to try some other flavor combos. They have an extensive menu and some great looking flavor combinations!! It's a cool fusion spot. Check em out!!

We went here for dinner and ordered the steak burrito, chips & salsa, and fresh pineapple. The burrito was good, they pack it pretty full and the flavor of everything was good. The salsa tasted like straight tomato sauce, the chips were really chewy. And last but not least, the "fresh pineapple" drink tasted like canned pineapple which really isn't worth $4.50.

I got 'Dos Tacos' combo with chips and a drink ( .75 cent upcharge for pineapple juice). Paid around $15 with tax included. I got one grilled garlic shrimp taco and one panko breaded shrimp taco. I definitely enjoyed the grilled garlic shrimp the best!
Co-Vid-19 Protocol: Only 3 people in the store at a time. Masks must be worn. If you sit on their picnic table you must provide contact tracing info. (( as of 11 Oct 2021))

Eh. Got the carnitas tacos. Loved the taro tortilla but there was an excessive amount of sauce on my tacos that made it soupy. The consistency messed up the veggies and honestly made me gag. I couldn't see nor taste the meat at that point and just took it off and ate the meat with my rice and back beans which were actually good. Too heavy handed with everything BUT the meat or flavors.

It's ok. I had 2 tacos (ok), and a burrito bowl (gave to a friend, she loved it). They only have 2 tables inside and 2 outside, so take out seems best. I was lucky to get an outside table, although I had to fight with the birds!!! When you order you choose toppings, not a big fan on that, but I'm sure some people are. Definitely try at least one time.

This past Tuesday I decided to take advantage of a Yelp 10% off an entire purchase app coupon. I was kinda hungry after work and after a Cortado from Kona Coffee Purveyors...just across Kuhio Avenue.

I'm just waiting...maybe it will happen in 2023...for a restaurant to have a post-pandemic themed COVID restaurant. For example, enclosed, plastic or glass, booths in the dining room. Maybe named: COVIDeli?

Fish tacos and quesadillas were absolutely amazing. They flavor everything perfectly, and it may rank in one of the best fish tacos I’ve ever had. I also enjoyed the customer service that I received. It could take a bit long, and there isn’t much seating room, but the food and service makes up for it.

Excellent food, the grilled fish tacos are out of this world. I've been to many Latino counties and I have to say that the food here is on the same par (w/ an American twist of course). The only thing that needs work is the seating, not too much of it and kind of dirty. But I'm not complaining the food is just too good to!!!

The wait for this tiny little hole-in-the-wall taco shop is definitely worth it. Current covid procedures limit only 3-4 persons in the place at a time. Beware when you go in, because all of that wonderful mexican food aroma will now infuse your hair and clothes even after only the few minutes it takes to order your meal. But you will be rewarded with some of the most tasty and well-prepared tacos. We had the steak, chicken, and shrimp tacos and they were simply awesome. Definitely worth the wait, and make sure to wash your clothes when you get home.

The reviews are average but the lines are often long. Hmmm, that's odd.
I'll give this grungy -- I use that word with reverence -- place 5 stars because the staff is spunky and the vibe is cool. Oh, the tacos? After downing Baja style and raw Aji tacos, I understand why the lines exist at certain times of the day. You'll see me in one those lines before my vacation is over.
