Came and toured the place about two weeks ago.
They wanted $950/month plus utilities for a 2 bedroom apartment. There is no washer/dryer hookup. The ceiling in the unit we toured was wavy along one of the edges, hinting at previous water damage. The apartment in and of itself was okay - nothing special.
Got a 2 bedroom just down the road with a washer/dryer hookup for $759/month plus utilities.
Not trying to dog on Charter Oaks - but definitely too expensive for what they are.

The smart rent app is not so smart it is a disaster might as well stuck with key entry. The worst "improvement" they made. The app doesn't work anymore at all I've tried updating and reinstalling no luck so now I have to do everything manually, before it stopped working it would constantly sign me out. I only give 2 stars because of the whole smart rent app and digital locks really irritating. Also the entry doors to every building has no windows so when you leave or come in you don't know who's on the other side and could easily hit someone in the face with the door like someone's kid who's not

Nice apartments but they won’t work with you at all they forced us to get new digital locks forced us to have to leave our apartments to get mail because they wanted to install lockers that “improve their apartments” they don’t give you an option to opt out of oh and your $90 short on rent and want an arrangement for a few weeks later nope you have 2 days before they will take you to court and add another $125 onto what you owe I don’t recommend charter oaks if you are looking for a place that you might need to work with you
