I have a 16 week old son who I have to have live with my mother because this is an unsafe environment in my condo and a poor condo HOA (Ogden)
I am Living in a condo that is seeping mold in the outlets, and constant leaking water from the roof. I have had a leak in my roof since Feb 2, 2021. It's now 10/2/2021 The condo association keeps telling me they are going to fix my water leak and they don't and are dragging feet. * On the outset we started noticing some very odd behavior regarding lack of communication and the communication we did receive was an email with broken sentences.
o This made us start to feel uncomfortable with working with them.
* Website barely works and was even told by the property manager that it wasn't very good.
o Application process was clumsy on the website. My application was deleted and still was charged for the application that wasn't processed though I was told I wouldn't be charged.

As a landlord they take so many fees, outrageous charges for any type of work. you as a landlord have to end up paying them more than you collect on incomes to manage your property. work they claim was done was not like carpet cleanings but you get charged for them. even phone calls they charge you for "communication fee". the tenants end up also getting a poorly maintained apartment.
the want high turnover- WHY? they get a $500 fee every time some new tenant in there and another $500 to evict. who takes the losses for them choose a crap tenant? oh its the landlord!!

I have had SOO many issues.
I cannot seem to get through to even make a review on their Ogden website!!! UGH
I have tried to get a hold of Mari White and Jacki Monty in Mesa, AZ via email and phone and I CANNOT get an answer on the phone or an email during business hours! Was the office closed on Friday?!
And when I did finally get an email today, my other 4 emails went ignored.
I'm trying to figure out why I had a demand letter sent to my house.
I was sent a ledger that shows the last 6 months and every payment was made but at the top it says "previous balance" ....I've asked

Ogden, not a company for consumers, Ogen is only about money, ie. collecting dues, rents, and crazy fees they can not prove. Twice I was hit with furniture out by the dumpsters that was not mine. I fell in a hole on July 10, 2019 broke my foot told Ms. Kooplin she ignored it. I'm looking at a few attorneys, too deal with this one matter. I'm also investigating another attorney due to a soffit that leaked into my master bedroom causing damage I was told by Ogedens maintenance after the soffit was fixed that maintenance would be back to put kills on it, and paint it white. Stay as far away from any property run by this company as you can get! They are mean, nasty people and do NOTHING for condo owners and I can only imagine the horrible way they treat renters. The only people in condos they do ANYTHING for are the Board members who can fire them. They threaten owners with reporting the owner to the board if the owner complains about Ogden's lack of service and professionalism. They take money out of owner's accounts without authorization to pay bills the owner's don't even know they owe, and then send the owner late fee notices for the monthly

Wish I could give zero stars. They bought my building while I was already living in it (previously owned by Siegel Gallagher ) (p.s. that company was amazing and staff was fantastic and friendly) they don't care about the residents and their safety. Disregard complaints and doesn't answer maintenance requests. Constantly changing who you need to contact for things in the building. Can never get ahold of anyone and rarely ever get phone calls back when messages are left. Will never rent again from this company. Disappointed.

I lived at an Ogden property for 3.5 years in Shorewood. The building was almost 90 years old and many fixtures, including my bathroom were original. There were a lot of maintenance issues when I moved in, but they got fixed. The common areas were reasonably clean. They did lose one of the leases that I signed (renewal) but otherwise they were professional. Overall, not perfect but a pretty decent company to rent from. I wish they would've respected their best tenants more instead of constantly raising rents on them.

As a potential renter, they give a terrible first impression. Took a while to get in contact, but I'm busy as well so I wasn't too bothered by that. Someone named Diana texted me about setting up a showing, and told me to text her to remind her to come. I would think if this is your job, you'd know where you are supposed to be and what time. So I texted her an hour and a half before the appointment, no response. I get all the way over here from the south side, no response. Stay far away from Bay Colony Townhomes! I moved in on May 31, 2017 and the manner in which I received my unit was terrible! A friend of mine moved in the same day and her kitchen had a roach infestation! There is a clear problem with plumbing as there was sewage in my tub! My unit was so bad that they had to give me credits on my rent totaling $700. To make matters worse, you can be the best tenant and pay your rent on time but if you complain about the disgusting conditions of your unit they won't renew your lease but allow others to pay rent whenever they want. I lived at the Tioga Apartments for two and a half years (2013-2015) while a student at Marquette University and will look back fondly at the memories I made while living in this building! I had a few maintenence issues here and there, including a constantly finicky refrigerator and backed up bathroom pipes. There were some questionable tenants who didn't appear to be students or young professionals but they weren't too bothersome. The apartments are small but really charming and you can do a lot with the small space! Washer and dryer in the basement was a plus. Reasonable rent. Hard

I lived in the Tioga Apartments for one year and I couldn't wait to get out. Halfway through my lease they hired a new apartment manager which was the only good thing that happened. I had a 13 page document of things that went wrong. A few things from the list are: recurring problems with my refrigerator (often quit working which caused loss of food and not much help from Ogden), the door knob for the entry door of my unit kept falling off, they have super messy contractors that track dirt all over your place when they come, it took me a month and a half to get my mailbox key from the lazy

I was trying to set up a viewing for a two bedroom apartment in whitefish bay. After three emails and two voice mails I get an email back telling me to give them a call. Had to leave one voice mail and two more calls just to talk to someone. Went to check the place out and it looked very poorly maintained, small and out dated. The guy showing the apartment did not know what they even had available at the time. I told him to give me a call when he finds out and he said he would email me, I'm not to optimistic to get an email at all!

They were so obnoxious to our old building manager that he moved out after 27 years of living in this building.
Not a single maintenance issue has been fixed since they took over. Our new building manager is a waste of air who doesn't even make sure the doors are locked or clean the hallways.
They also don't return phone calls or emails. They've lied to my face multiple times trying to get more money out of me

My landlord cut my lock from my storage unit with no permission or warning. He says I don't get a storage unit. I tried to contact management for weeks via phone and email, still no response. I lost $1,500 worth of stuff, and somehow it's my fault? Poor communication between staff and tenants. Would not recommend!!

I understand there're only few companies that offer rent services on the market but I'd recommend to avoid dealing with Ogden. The places they service are not clean; maintenance requests take waaaaay to long to be satisfied. My family lives in a complex named Bay Colony - must mention it's in Whitefish Bay - one of the cleanest places in Mke area, however, this one particular place is nothing than a big location of trash and junk. They never clean outside areas of the complex. Dumpsters are too close to the premises; in a windy weather trash is flying everywhere from those WM trash
