Yes, we place composite resin fillings because they have some qualities superior to the older silver fillings. First off, they are bonded to the tooth rather than simply packed into the cavity space. This bonding process creates a seal to keep bacteria out. As they were first developed over 30 years ago, the white fillings had questionable strength and wear resistance.

No pain is quite like tooth pain. Years of rough dental visits have left me fairly squeamish, but my short experience with Landerhaven Dental Associates has already begun to erode that fear. My visits have been as close to being a pleasure as going to the dentist gets. Everyone in the office is extremely friendly, and Dr. Leon is exactly what I want in a dentist - attentive, disarming, and detail oriented. It's enough to make a dentophobe like myself start to consider going in for sixth month cleanings. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Unorganized and unreliable. Booked a standard teeth cleaning over a month out and they even called to confirm it a few days before the appointment. Then, less than 24 hours before, they called to cancel because they said they didn't have a technician to do the cleaning. Instead of rebooking me within a week or two, they told me I'd have to wait another 2.5 months for a new appointment when they were the ones to cancel! There are many dentists in the area, save your time and go somewhere that sticks to their appointments and resolves the issue immediately if they can't.

Was a former patient of Hudec Dental, came to Landerhaven for first time today and the difference in care is NIGHT AND DAY! I had the opportunity to work with Dr. Leon at the Team Smile with the Cleveland Indians event this year. This is a volunteer event which serves over 300 children from the Boys and Girls Club of Cleveland. Dr. Leon was wonderful with all of the kids, very patient and good humored. Seeing a provider perform at this type of event really says a great deal about them-they see patients with varying degrees of dental issues in a very fast paced, very loud, and slightly chaotic environment- Dr. Leon was a true professional and it was a pleasure to work with him.
