Acapulco Restaurant

Was hoping to find some flavorful, authentic Mexican food here in West Valley…was not disappointed!

Tried this place for takeout tonight and it was delicious. My husband had the smothered California burrito and is now obsessed. I had the smothered burritos and they had a huge pile of onions but thats my only complaint, otherwise tasty. Rice and beans were also good!

The food was okay. The food did not take a long time to come to our table. The place was not crowded at all. Service was not friendly, waitress appeared to be having a bad day. She seemed bothered when we did not order right away or when we asked for separate bills. Left a tip regardless hoping her day would improve.
The place has been around for a long time, maybe they are doing something right?
Certainly, it was not the service or the food.
The good news is that both things can be easily fixed.

Probably the worst Mexican food I’ve had. The salsa on the other hand is why I gave it more than 1 star. It could be because I did curbside but I don’t think I’ll be ordering again.

Ok, so the carne asada plate was AMAZING and totally unexpected!
Chips and salsa were ok, so don't judge the place by that. Also the chile verde burrito was so yum! Perfect hole in the wall place for excellent Mexican food!

This was our first time visiting and we will definitely be back. Their chips and salsa were much better than some of the other restaurants we have tried in the area. We both got the large combination platter and everything on it was delicious. The staff were quick and friendly and provided recommendations for food and beverages. I can't wait to go back and try other items on the menu.

Love this place every time. Feels like I'm at home having mom's cooking! The cheese enchiladas and taco salad are delicious. They warm their chips so it's an incredible touch to your meal. This is a tie for first in Mexican Restaurants in Salt Lake.

We drove 35 minutes to get to this restaurant to celebrate Valentine's Day. The food is fantastic. One of our favorite restaurants.

Nice, small Mexican restaurant with a wide variety of Mexican Dishes. The staff are English and Spanish friendly and it's typically not too busy. The staff are also really friendly and kind. The food tastes delicious and allows for a real Mexican food experience. Meals come with chios and salsa and more often than not beans and rice. It's small and not well known, but it's a good place to go and I recommend it.
