We were driving through Janesville to Madison. We stopped at a gas station and our car wouldn’t start. J & S wasn’t even open but Rob happened to be in the shop and drove out to see if he could help us. We ended up having the car towed back and he did everything he could to get the needed parts even though it was a holiday weekend. Rob went above and beyond to help us and we couldn’t recommend J & S enough for the level of service and care they provide.

They will rob you and laugh about it right to your face.
Was quoted $144 to do brake job. Rear drum brakes on a older small car. Now i bought my own parts from the parts store, to save money, cause i know auto shops jack up the parts price. Now, I would have done this brake job as I have done drum brakes many times, but this time I could not get the rotors off. She Called me and said one wheel cylinder is frozen. I said ok. Now mind you the brakes are already off, because that is why I brought it to their shop, for a brake job. With the brakes off the wheel cylinder is held on with 2 bolts. And

Our family lives on a tight budget, paying cash for everything. We had been recommended to J & S Auto by a friend. They are the best auto shop we have used. They are honest, thorough and you can tell by the attention they give you they truly care about your vehicle as well as your pocketbook. They have never pushed us into any repairs and have not hassled us when we wanted to replace something our selves. I would highly recommend this shop.

It is so hard to find a mechanic you trust, and in June, I needed to find a good mechanic. Fortunately, I was referred to J&S.
In short, my Toyota's engine control unit (ECU) was giving me trouble and causing my transmission to either shift hard or slip when accelerating. Since I needed new tires anyway, I took it first to a chain place and got tires. They told me that my tire alignment was doing it (I may not know a lot about cars but I can sure as hell tell you that tire alignment does not cause transmission slips).
