I highly recommend this dentist. They are always kind, warm, and professional. Before coming here, I was a person who was not a fan of going to the dentist, but after getting a tooth extraction (which healed fairly quickly with not much pain) I can honestly say, I refuse to let any other dentist in Pittsburgh touch my mouth. If you're looking for a good trustworthy dentist, this is the right place to be!

I saw the low mean score and had to comment because my recent experience was pleasant.
I had to wait an extra 20 mins but that's ok the staff was apologetic about it and it happens!
Everything other than that was nice. The hygienist was polite and did a good job as well as the doc.
It was a routine care appointment.

I cannot recommend Dr. DeFusco. I went to see him because of pain in tooth #12 (yes, I know how to count my teeth!). The only diagnostic test he did was an X-ray of the teeth in that part of my mouth. The X-ray showed no problem with #12, but he decided to drill into #13 because of a minor "shadow." It was the worst drilling experience I've ever had. It felt like he had chosen a large drill bit, like he was using a sledge hammer. I heard him tell his assistant that he had hit a nerve and that he saw blood. That made me nervous. Maybe he should have paid better attention to his drilling

Over a number of years, I have had a crown replaced, an implant, some small repairs, and regular maintenance from Dr. DeFusco, Dr. Alani and their staff, and never a moment's trouble. They are caring, competent and professional. I was a dentophobe before I found this office. Another reviewer said that they are almost like family, and I have to agree. They're the best!

HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND!!!
I have been referred to Dr Defusco for tooth extraction, when I came to the office, he convinced me to keep the tooth and get a root canal and crown instead.
As result of this treatment unbearable pain and infected tooth. Pulsation inside my tooth and moreover I didn't have opportunity to take care of my little baby.
I came back to the office for help but doctor became unavailable full next week, and nobody in the office can help me!!!
I started to find emergency help and made an appointment to other dentistry and they highly recommended me to get rid of this infected

Dr.DeFesco and the whole staff are so caring . They don't rush you out to get to the next person they take their time with each person.I would recommend this dentist and his staff to whoever needs a dentist. I could say I am a chicken but they make me feel so comfortable. Thank you for great service.
