“Your dog might have cancer” …. But we brought her in for a severe limp, shoulder problem, maybe arthritis?? “Can’t worry about that, she needs meds, we don’t have them but will give you a few” “Go get an ultrasound!” “We will discuss with you next month”

Im reporting you to the state board. Outrageous. My dog had a heartworm test 5 months ago at your practice. Im not getting another one in order to get a refill. This is becoming an issue. You prescribe meds and then need more tests before a refill. Its really unethical. Ill get the heartworm from Canada and bypass you altogether. So, basically you cost yourself a few thousand a year, and solved nothing. Good work.. . What horrible greedy people you are. There's forever an issue. It's none of your business what brand of heartworm treatment i choose. I know the correct dosage was ordered. Its my

I'm a new customer and I live less than 5 minutes away from Lakewood Forest Vet Hosp. I really hope that I had found a vet/clinic that would help me take care of my two fur babies that I recently rescued. But unfortunately instead it appears that I'm one of the customers that received poor service. I took my fur babies there to make sure they were healthy. One had an ear infection and also needed his glands to be expressed. The other dog was great. My bill was 270.00. I was grateful that I had a first time client voucher. Because the very next day I had to call back to inform them that my male

The got my pup in the same day. Woke up to bloody stools. Came home with stuff to help her. She's never scared when she goes there.
I have to update. Went to the groomer there too. My dog is a rescue and is very scared of the groomer. Last time (at a different place) I had to pick her up early because she pooped everywhere. Not here. She made it through and smell great! Look how happy she is.

It's disappointing to have to leave this review, as my family has used this vet since my dog was a puppy. This is hands down, the worst, most uncaring, unprofessional experience I've ever had.
My dog was quite sick through the night, so I called in the morning to schedule an appointment. I was told, "no, we won't do that. We will not see her if she's sick." So. Our vet will not see our dog when she's sick? They said to "take her somewhere else." Obviously I have, and we will never return to this vet. They had no suggestions, no recommendations, and nothing to say other than basically go away.

I am so happy and pleased that this hospital is "cat friendly". They really go the extra mile to make sure your cat is treated with a gentle touch. We just love Dr. Borland! She is so knowledgeable, caring, and takes time to explain every aspect of health. Thank you to everyone from Houdini and mom. You guys are awesome!

A must read for new patient to this veterinarian. We have a dog that is 9 years old. she have a premolar tooth that need to be removed. because it is accessed. I called this vet. and asked if they did this and how much it would cost. I was told that they would be able to do this processor with no problem and the cost was good. So I set up a appointment and drop off my dog. I was called about 1 hour later because they forgot to have me sign a paper because I'm a new patient . So we handle it over the phone. About 1 hour later I received another call that I can come pick up my dog. and was informed

I wanted to add information to my 5 star review. When I first moved to Houston I had tried a few vets with limited success. My first experience with LFV was at the loss of my 19yr old cat Logan. I woke up to find she had passed in the night. I took her to them for the creation of a memorial. They were so compassionate and caring. The support they gave and the beautiful memorial I received warmed my heart. My second experience was bringing in my timid gentle giant gunner. He is terrified of strangers. The staff here were so wonderful to him that he warmed to them immediately. They took great care
