Sophia has been a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in private practice since 1994. She has recently become a Certified Distance Counselor. Mindfulness meditation has been well researched as an effective method of coping with stress, anxiety, and depression. Mindfulness practice results in a sense of equanimity giving us the ability to cope.
