Services
Mason Family Counseling serves a wide array of symptoms, worries, and issues including, but not limited to, those below. We also serve a wide set of demographics - adults or children, couples or individuals, young people or the elderly. Contact us today and let's explore together how our staff and its 100+ years of counseling experience can leverage their skills to fit your unique needs.
It is Mason Family Counseling's obligation and responsibility to the insurance companies that we are contracted with to collect all office fees for therapy visits at the time of service, which includes co-pays and deductibles. If your insurance company has given you other payment information, we will need this in writing.
Do you feel a traditional, face-to-face experience would suit you, but can't make it into our office regularly? If so, you should consider online video conferencing. With the right equipment, video conferencing allows you and your therapist to see and hear one another in real-time making for a very personable and productive experience.
Are you busy but have a flexible schedule and don't need face-to-face meetings? If so, phone sessions may be right for you. Phone sessions allow for convenience in a busy schedule, an immediate response, and the comfort of hearing your counselor's voice. Best of all, phone sessions have historically been highly-effective.
Convenience: You can have therapy or a consultation right from your home or office during a time that is convenient for you. There's no commute, no parking problems. Accessibility: You can interact with your therapist when you travel, when you don't drive, don't have a car, don't like to drive or when conditions or responsibilities make difficult to leave the house.

The front desk is extremely hard to keep ahold of. The constant switch between in person and via phone is hard, especially when in therapy. Some of my calls lasted less than 30 minutes but I was still charged for the hour. Once you’re charged, it’s nearly impossible to get ahold of the front or billing. We have called several times, sent emails, with no answers or replies. The staff is telling us we are owing them money, and we are not paying our bills, yet they have processed the payments almost a month ago. Very hard time. I recommend elsewhere, especially if you’re looking to make progress

I'll give the third star based solely on my long lasting relationship with the practitioner and quality of care I received from her, but the receptionist, who I believe is somehow an administrator, is rude, standoffish and dismissive. I attempted to reconcile a nearly decade long relationship after a six month lapse in insurance, and was met with immediate confrontation and apathy. Needless to say I'll seek treatment elsewhere.
