Services
Tanner Lakes Animal Clinic is an established small animal veterinary clinic providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work with specialist practices when certain diagnostic procedures are required and for second opinions.
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, Tanner Lakes Animal Clinic stresses the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.
Well known to our clientele, Steve is the CFO of Tanner Lakes Animal Clinic. He earned that title at two and a half years old. He was found as a six week old kitten on the side of Highway 290, and is believed to come from a very long line of feral cats. During his time at Tanner Lakes Animal Clinic, he has spent many days keeping watch of the clinic and chasing away the clinic broom.
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate by appointment. Walk-in's are welcomed but appointments are preferred. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why the occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client and patient on time.

As long as you’re taking your dog, they are very nice. If you have to take your pet some where else (I moved) they are not helpful regarding previous visits. I took my dog (I had an appointment) had no idea no Dr in. However, staff was very helpful, nice and informative. UNTIL I HAD TO CALL BACK with simple questions regarding my visit. Staff very defensive about me asking what they had told me. Even told me NO RECORDS for the day I came and REITERATED SEVERAL TIMES The Dr wasn’t in. Then he HUNG UP IN MY FACE. Other Vet attempted to get records from them, but…. I guess you need to verify

Dr. Ken has taken care of my family’s pets for years. He and his staff have always gone above and beyond. Everyone at the clinic is friendly, professional, and caring. Even after moving to Sugar Land, it is worth the drive to see Dr. Ken!

Love this place and the people! Everyone is friendly and the vet actually came out to the car to meet us, we just love him, he was so friendly, charming and charismatic. And the best judge of character is Trixie and she loves her new veterinary doctor, so needless to say we will be back and you'll be glad you chose Tanner Lakes Animal Clinic.

Dr. Ken has my highest rating. Words cannot describe how grateful we are of him for taking such great care of our 1 year old dog, Rocky. He treated Rocky as if he was one of his own. Dr. Ken answered our every phone call, which was several times every day for a week. He informed us of Rocky’s status and improvements and most importantly gave us comfort as we did not know how surgery would impact Rocky’s life. We cannot thank him enough for saving his life. I truly recommend his facility to anyone that want the highest quality of treatment for their fur babies. Thank you Dr. Ken and thank you

We brought our dog in for a check up and Dr. Ken was able to detect some small tumors on her. We scheduled a follow up for an x-ray and surgery to remove the tumors. We are thankful that it was found early.
A little background: our dog is a "caution" dog and wary of strangers, but not aggressive unless she feels threatened. She was startled and snapped at the vet tech on the visit. We muzzled her and held her for the examination, but we were not given anything to calm her before her follow up, which I think should have been anticipated. Still, everything was fine up until that

Dr. Malinowski and his team are a good group of folks. My wife and I have taken all of our cats to them for almost 20 years. We get very personalized, caring attention and would not hesitate to refer others here for any routine small animal concerns (not livestock--he's not a country vet). He spends abundant time at every visit making sure that we understand the diagnosis and plan of care. We have *never* felt rushed in any way.
As you would expect, they do labs and x-rays as well as surgeries in the office, and sell food and supply meds. If a product needs to be ordered, that can be done

Dr Malinowski is a great vet! He has provided excellent care to our 5 dogs over the years. One of our dogs has a difficult medical condition, he has spent lots of time networking with other vets around the world to find medications and treatment plans for her. His research and work has paid off and she is a healthy dog. He and his staff are very friendly. I couldn't ask for a more trusted vet.

I don't trust anyone else with my dogs, the dogs I foster, or my friends cats. He's always attentive to their needs, I always laugh during our visits, and he's incredibly accommodating and kind to our rambunctious animals! We've gotten dogs spayed here, neutered, have had dentals, and full exams without ever having any issues

I was going for years to the Tanner Lake Animal Clinic and I really liked them, but for some reason Dr. Malinowski insulted me verbally and I have enough, I don't know why, I always paid everything right away. I guess it makes him feel good to insult people. I asked for the medical records for my cats, never got them. Dr. Malinowksi turned out to be quite disgusting. Besides that, when he does not know something, he say, it must be allergies.
I tell you what, NOT everything is allergies.

Dr. Ken and his staff was very warm and informative. I went here on a recommendation from a friend, and I was glad I did. I'm a first time puppy owner, and Dr. Ken answered all the questions I had. He even gave Ren a bag of food to sample, and he loved it! I would highly recommend this clinic to any pet owners out there!
