We have been coming here over 20 years and it's always been good, we stopped in today and were very disappointed in the food quality, our server Madison was great and we tipped her generously but the food was way off. My blackened sandwich was not blackened and did not taste good at all, fishy taste but I ate some of it anyway cause I don't like to complain, the fried shrimp were over cooked and way salty and the order of crab claws that set me back 43 bucks were way over cooked and had no flavor, the only thing decent were the raw oysters, probably cause they weren't cooked, very

I got a recommendation for this as the best seafood on the beach. I can say that the 1 pound royal red shrimp “low country boil” special was great. Corn, potatoes, sausage and a pound of very large royal reds. My server was super nice and didn’t let my water get empty. The owner checked on me a couple of times and even bused the table. I tried the key lime pie, and even though it wasn’t made there it is a very good local bakery that supplied it. Excellent

Disappointed. I specifically asked if the seafood was fresh before I ordered. I was told yes. Sadly it was not.
For the quality of food they are over priced. The alligator bites are disgusting.
My grilled scallops were chewy and undercooked.
The brussel sprouts seemed slimy, not sure what the sauce was on it but for sure been sitting around for some time.
The fish and chips, fish was ok - yet the fries were old tasting.
Mac and cheese was also old tasting.
Weird sauce on the grouper tacos. I think it was the same as what they out on Brussels sprouts.

We first went to this restaurant in 2020 over our Thanksgiving holiday. It was so good, we decided to go back this year. We were able to dine there twice this year, and so glad we did. Their seafood is fresh and their beer selections are great. They obviously also have a full bar, but I'm a beer drinker so I was glad they carried the beer I drink the most...Blue Moon. Already looking forward to our visit next year. Brandon was very helpful...I have food allergies, and he was kind and considerate while listening to my woes. The food came out exactly as ordered due to my allergies. Great

I’m not going to lie, when we pulled in I didn’t have high hopes of anything but fried bar food. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! They had a large menu and the food was amazing! My husband got the Grouper Pontchartrain, he said it was the best grouper he’s ever had. And the staff was very friendly, the kids loved sitting on the patio and seeing the gators and turtles, highly recommend.

From my perspective, Yuck...
Food was frozen like: Frozen shrimp, and chicken strips. Crab bites with no crab... I also ordered alfredo and it was horrible, prepackaged white sauce, probably not even made with cheese... Ruined the dinner and very disappointing.. Please don't go it was super disappointing....

This is the first place we tried after entering town. Although it is basically across the street from the beach the seafood is definitely not fresh. My food was also served room temperature with no warmth left at all. Once the manager was told another person in my party heard the manager negating my complain right beside our table. The only thing that was good was the raw oysters. We will not be returning.

This is my second meal here this week. I cannot understand why it has such a low rating. It is the best place that we have eaten at all week. Because of Ida raw oysters have been difficult to find, and when you can get them they're very small. Not here, large and delicious. The horseradish is amazing. I had the Shrimp and Scallop Risotto both times and I loved it. Alex was our server both times as well.
The only drawback is the live music playing at such a volume that prevented any type of decent conversation.

I've been here several times and have enjoyed the dinner fare but today was my first experience with breakfast and that's my topic for this review.
Kayla, our sever, took great care of us and the good hot coffee kept flowing. My honey had the garden omelette with grits and biscuit. These are real deal stone ground grits and a very good biscuit. The omelette was cooked and seasoned well and was very tasty. I opted for the 2 egg breakfast

Good service and food. We got a souvenir tikki glass with a purchase of a alcoholic drink. Worth the price. We tried the gator bites for the first time and they are excellent, they taste like chicken lol. I got the bacon jam burger with coleslaw and my boyfriend the fish of the day with shrimp and fresh oysters .

Really hoped for a better dinner for our first time in Gulf Shores. Fish tacos were awful. My husband got a $27 fish dinner and it made him sick. My daughter got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and it was the best thing we ordered. We ordered a beer and we got the check before the beer even came out to the table. I Would not go back. Very disappointing

It was very busy when we went around 6pm on a Monday but worth it(first week of August)! The food can be a little pricey but the food they give is delicious and huge portions! The waiter was so kind unfortunately I forgot his name but he asked if we can switch tables so another family could sit close to each other and keep thanking us and even gave us a free dessert for moving:) I had the fish and chips, the fish was fried to perfection and hush puppies I mean who doesn’t like hush puppies.

First time here and it will probably be my last. I was not a huge fan of my shrimp poboy because the batter was very gritty and the onion rings were obviously frozen. I will say I enjoyed the fried pickles but that was pretty much it aside from the live band. If you like bars with live music, then this is the place for you. But if you're looking for delicious food and a reasonable wait for a great dining experience, then pass this place up.

We went here looking for exactly what they had on the menu but, was severely disappointed in alot. The waitress came to our table took our water all around order and my oldest son ordered the fried pickle app. Which all came out immediately, we felt so much pressure to order, we sent her away 3 times we are a party of 7, Having never been here before (geez woman give us a minute) We finally ordered my husband and I got the Angus Burgers, mine with Onion Rings his with fries.
