They cut my lease short and raised my rent $500/month which I could never afford a rent increase like that, so basically it forced me out with a newborn and 2 year old. They raised my next door neighbors by $1,000!! They told us both it was “market value”. I loved my apartment when I was there, it’s beautiful but they never answer the phones, maitenence took WEEKS to change a light bulb for me (in kitchen where I couldn’t reach). The pool hours were so sloppy, one day they’re open and then suddenly they’re not. I don’t reccomend at all.

The apartment as a whole is amazing the location is fantastic! The management of this complex is god awful would not recommend this place to anyone. Quiet?? Most definitely not, the resident above me keeps their dog locked in a cage all day and barks non stop. I’ve called numerous times to file a complaint about it and no one ever answers the phone. Reviews that say this place is great are most definitely false!

Worst leasing office staff to deal with. First started with getting quotes regarding the pricing of our apartment. Tegan in the office consistently told us wrong prices, and then claimed it was a mistake after having to spend more monthly than I originally thought.
I have moved apartments 2 times now due to Job Promotion, and never have I been charged a $300 dollar cleaning fee that ultimately wiped out the whole security deposit. They also tell you that you can mount TVs on the wall, but then charge you $35 dollars for wall repair.
For breaking the lease due to a Job Promotion I was charged

I’ve lived here for 6 years now and my opinion is that it’s only so-so. My apartment is big enough for just me, and I have the luxury of having an attached garage.
Prepare to pony up the cash, though: I renewed this year and was hit with a $200/mo increase. And that’s only on the base rate. I now pay $140/mo for the garage (which has also seen price creep), plus trash removal fees, cable/internet package fees (these are built in, you can’t opt out, so if you want a better tv package you can’t just upgrade, you have to pay for two separate ones), and even a few when I pay rent online

Renter beware! My rent at the end of my lease was going to increase by 365 dollars a month!! That was on a 12 month lease. The other lease options were ridiculously overpriced as well. It is designed to lock you into a specific lease term that benefits them. The 12 month was the most cost effective and that price was insane. Wish I still had a copy of the term rates so I could post and show everyone the highway robbery going on in the complex. I decided not to renew and moved out this month.
Besides the rent increase, the walls are as thin as paper. You can hear everything going on in the apartments

I've lived at Rivers Pointe for just under a year now. It's been fine, besides the fact that for the price, my unit is outdated (appliances are definitely all original, the carpet needs to be replaced, the cabinets are all dinged) and the pool is only ever open half the time.
Overall, the shoveling and plowing has been pretty good. Only a few times they weren't on top of it early. Maintenance is friendly, but they have to go through 8 steps to replace anything. Replacing a light fixture that kept blowing through bulbs was a chore.
The big reason for this review is the lease renewal. We just got

This place is amazing...clean as well as filled with wonderful amenities at every turn. I have not made my final decision to move yet but when I do it will be here. Teagan, one of the rental office employees was truly wonderful. Her knowledge and genuine concern that all needs be met made me feel comfortable as a possible future resident. Thanks for giving me such a positive experience Rivers Pointe!!
