Registration: Jump Start Gym has a rolling registration system. Once your child is enrolled in a class they can remain in that class for the school year Sept-May unless you request a change or an instructor suggests a change. We try to have multiple age groups and levels at the same time which allows kids to move up without changing their day/time.
My daughter has been dancing at the same dance studio since before she turned two. It's like home to us, so when she decided she wanted to do gymnastics I was worried about finding a place that she would be comfortable at. She loves jump start and counts down the days between classes! The staff is amazing and we couldn't be happier!
Yes, we do offer a FREE trial for your child(ren) to try out a class to determine if you'll love it. Yes, just give us a call 404-252-JUMP (5867) to let the Front Desk Staff know that you need to schedule a make-up for the upcoming class your child will be absent in. Yes, we have a "School's Out" program where your child is able to spend the day or week with us.
Jump Start Gym is currently seeking hard working and highly motivated individuals for our administrative, gymnastics, preschool, birthday parties and summer programs. We offer programming ranging from 3 months old to adults. We are looking for individuals that can create a fun environment to learn and grow.

We’ve been coming here for a few years now. We’ve tried 4 different gyms in Atlanta area but JSJ is the one we picked.
Whether you want to keep your kids active or train them professionally, JSJ is the place to go.
The owner is friendly, supportive, and accommodating. Coaches are friendly and professional.
You can’t go wrong with an Olympics gold medalist coach, if you want to get your kids trained professionally.

I took my baby to the Mommy and Me classes, it's my first experience in any type of baby and Mommy class so I didn't have high expectations. You do a couple of nursery rhymes, play with rattle balls, musical instruments and do different exercises; it was fun. I do agree with the hygiene comments; they can do better. Also I've never been to a gymnastics facility before but their mats seem to be all over the place, we were walking to the trampoline and I stepped on a mat that sunk in pretty deep. They're all piled up, pretty messy other than that it's pretty good for the

Im a little concerned about the hygiene of this place. The equipment is old and the gym is very dirty. Matts are nasty and it smells. Some coaches are not very enthusiastic and honestly you can tell they don’t want to be there. Others are great. My son has learned a lot for sure but staff is just not very Pleasant. Unfortunately, we don’t have too many options around here but they need to step it up when it comes to the overall cleanliness of the place and staff attitude.

They offered a Satellite program at our Elementary school and I was VERY disappointed in how they conducted business, spoke about their employees, addressed parents concerns, safety procedures and had lead teachers who used a tone so rude to students I asked them to leave on the spot when I sat in. I have contracted with over 40 extracurricular vendors for schools over past 7 yrs and I only write this review to give others in my boat a heads up. Even though all tuition was already paid out to Jump Start at the end of the semester I ended up crediting EVERY one in the class $100 because I was so

I had the same thing happen to me. I stopped in to schedule a private tumbling lesson and spoke to two women at the front desk. They had me write down my name and phone number and "someone will get back to you." It has been over a week, and no one has called. Can't believe I am offering them the business and they have no courtesy to book an appointment for me. Unbelievable.

It's a shame but the fun and exciting atmosphere is no longer here. Changes have occurred for the worst. After 1.5 years here nothing new was learned. We inquired about private lessons and was told that the instructors pick and choose who they want to train and that we probably wouldn't get a call back. Each time I inquired about moving kids forward, equipment recommendations for home, anything to advance our learning, we hit a wall. We have moved to another facility and will review once we have a thorough grasp of the classes.

Called for private tumbling lessons. After a week no one called back. So I decided to stop by and get information. They took my info and said someone call me. 6 months later still haven't heard from them. I decided to give one last try and call again. I was told they can take my info and some would call. Needless to say I declined.

We have had my daughter's birthday party here for the last 3 years (she just turned 8), and it has been great every time! My daughter has autism and the kids at her party get the entire gym and trainers all to themselves, which makes for a much easier environment without hundreds of other children running around and screaming (like so many other venues). The staff is great and attentive and the kids have a great time every year!!

My experience is from taking my toddler to a month of classes.
Good size facility, but the gym needs to be better organized and much cleaner. It just feels like a big cluster f*** when you are walking through the non floor mat areas. The littler kid play area in the lobby is a bit gross. It's right in front of the shoe cubbies, which doesn't make sense to me in terms of cleanliness. And why would you allow strollers to be wheeled into the gym? It's just not a great place if you care about germs and have a baby you need to take with your toddler to class.
Online system sucks.
