I was given an estimate of the services I needed. The estimate was a range from basic care to extra care/additional services. When I dropped my dog off they upsold me on 3 other services, using guilt to sell the services. These additional services should have been presented and explained in the original estimate.
Other services were good, very polite, friendly, and helpful. Just wish they would have been honest with the original estimate.

Dr. DeTurck is amazing. She has been great with our EIGHT puppies and incredibly accommodating throughout all their appointments. She is knowledgeable and I would trust her judgement (although she is not judgmental). You don't find too many "down home" type vets anymore. I was so tired of the boutique vets ripping me off and trying to sell me things I don't need. I am so happy to have found Monument vet. The entire staff is very kind also. We will be sticking here.

Absolutely horrible experiences. Our dog is in pain and needing to be seen and they are "booked" for today. They are incredibly rude and poor customer service. Do not go here. find a vet like you would want to find a doctor for yourself, one that has a great staff, good bedside manner and wants to listen. this is not that place

I was very upset I had to cancel my Dogs procedure due to an emergency that cane up at work!
I called the minute I found out and was treated very unkind by who ever answered the phone!! I could tell they were mad!! I had taken my other dog here before she passed away and I did not like the vibe I got from the people that worked at this place. They were not understanding that I had an emergency nor did they try to accommodate me with another appointment. I will not be going back. I care deeply about my Dog and if they treat me like this on the phone I wonder how they would treat my Dog when

Not a good experience,the last time I was here the main vet was out doing a call on someones horse and literally no vet here? Then why have your doors open? My dog was bleeding and they had nobody here to help and inconvenience me that I had to go all the way down to Powers to see a vet since it was the only place open.

Over the last 35 years, I have had dogs born with good genes and some with bad genes, and one that was abused before I owned him. Dr Pape has provided excellent care to my dogs for the past ~20 years. She doesn't suggest unnecessary tests (as some other vets have) and she does a great job of explaining why we are doing what needs to be done. The dogs and I moved to Illinois about 10 years ago, and I still take them in to see "Aunt Leann" every year when we are back in Colorado. She catches things that other vets miss, takes the time to look into the small stuff, and really teaches

Great vet clinic! This clinic was able to get me in for a last minute appointment. I was impressed with the friendly demeanor and professionalism of the staff, especially Dr. Erin. The service of getting my cat evaluated and on medication was a lot cheaper than many of the other vet clinics in the area. I recommend checking this place out over some of the other clinics near Monument/N. Colorado Springs.
